Why is McDonald's the Largest Fast Food Chain if it sucks so much?

Their Signature meal is a Big Mac and Fries and a Big Mac does not taste as good as a Whopper, Whataburger, Hunger-Buster, or anything from Wendy's or Sonic.

y i love their hamburgers i can eat 3 of those everyday and i am not even remotely fat @ 140lbs that's only like 750calories and tastes so gudJigglyWiggly_

I had a friend who thought the same thing. And he was right as well! He wasn't fat!... Of course he did end up needing heart surgery, but that's fine since he wasn't fat. :P

     It is like why people pay a dollar for a really small ammount of water.  The food is garbage for your body that happens to look like real food.  It is made from a really bad history of corn, the cows are fed this corn and fed anti-biotics...  Because they are not meant to eat corn.  And this is what people are spending money on...  So from that knowledge, if you have half a brain you would realise this food goes against your survival instincts.  I think its just a lack of critical thinking, I have seen people who are nice people, but why are they drinking a large 32 oz soda every day?  Because they are addicted to it, once they stop drinking it, they crave it.  So the foods and drinks you can conveniently get have things in it that make it appealing to the brain in a bad way.  Those french fries are not french, and it does not decay.

McD's is decent b/c 2 McDoubles for $2 gives you 800 calories in 2 minutes.

My philosophy on this is definitely subject to change w/ income.

Kraft dinner beats all fast food. 225g's of awesome food for a canuck buck? can't beat that.

Dislike Macdee's............Prefer other fast food joints (Both local and franchises)

I don't get it either, the convenience/price argument doesn't really apply where I live because you can get local food for like 60% the price and only a few minutes of extra waiting time.

I love myself a big mac and large fries to be washed down with pepsi anyday :)
