Why is McDonald's the Largest Fast Food Chain if it sucks so much?

Marketing, Marketing and more marketing. Also Subway is larger then McDonalds. So they are technically 2nd largest. ferrari2001

Its about the taste. McDonalds has that signature taste. When you taste McDonalds you know your tasting McDonalds food. I like McDonalds so much. 

Cheap, everywhere, and relatively consistent.

The last two are the most important - virtually wherever you are in the country, you know you can go to a McDonald's and anticipate, with reasonable accuracy, what kind of food you'll get.

I'm pretty adventurous with food and I tend to seek out what I haven't tried before - thus, this reasoning never made much sense to me on a personal level. However, it's pretty well accepted in the industry that this is the most significant pillar of McD's success (and I can say that I personally know boat loads of people who fear trying new food places to the point that they actively avoid them).mattbbpl

$1 Double Cheeseburger, $1 small fries, and $1 small coke...for $3 you feast.

Plus their double cheeseburgers rock. I couldn't eat them everyday, but once in awhile they are great.
