At least bands (modern equivalent 'stadium' bands at least) can't get away with singing such tripe these days, even if I don't mind a bit of Def Leopard for their Kitsch appeal. As much as I think Coldplay sing about a load of rubbish, I couldn't see them ever recreating Cherry Pie in the modern age...
Ok. Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Scorpions. I really don't see how 80s hard rock was awful. th3warr1or
bon jovi and the scorpions are absolutely awful...

Yeah.. that's why they've sold over 100 million albums right? Yes, sales matters because popularity means nothing without sales. You wanna know how much someone actually likes something, you see if they buy it. Half the people who claim they would kill to marry Justin Bieber probably download his music.[QUOTE="lazerface216"][QUOTE="th3warr1or"]Ok. Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Scorpions. The point was sales =/= quality. It's not a valid argument to proclaim the quality of a musical act, good or bad. Please Log In to post.
