who knows what can happensAndroid17Exactly. I'd rather know how she will most likely respond :o The only thing that is a problem is people she doesn't know entering the house, but she just barks and then I put her in a room, then she calms. When she isn't on what she considers her property (outside) she's nice to whoever/whatever she sees.

Totally pointless. We already know people get hurt by animals. Does that mean we should kill any animal that resembles any animal that hurt someone?
Yeah. If she was ever to even try to bite someone in seriousness, I think we'd have to put her down :( Luckily, she hasn't! Yeah. If she was ever to even try to bite someone in seriousness, I think we'd have to put her down :( Luckily, she hasn't! I mean, all dogs breeds can be agressive and just a few can be "dangerous".
One problem with medium - large dogs is that their size makes their nature much more important. A small poodle attacking me would make me laugh. The funny thing is that even poodles can be "agressive". I mean, all dogs breeds can be agressive and just a few can be "dangerous".

my uncles pitbull is a really nice dog. it's better than my beagle. it's all the owner. a chihuahua could kill someone if they were raised that way. shoeman12I could squeeze a chihuahua with one hand.

mastiff shoeman12mastiffs are freaking scaredy cats. They're big, but a kid could chase one away :P yeah, i dunno how that baby got near a pitbull, but I'm tempted to blame the parents.
Also, they drool. A lot. A LOT. Just saying. They're cute, though. In a really large and ugly way.hey, don't insult my mastiff :x

I love all breeds of dogs, and i'll give your pitbull a big hug if it came scurrying up to me for a fuss. My favorite type of dog however, the feathered Saluki! The Saluki is the most ancient breed of dog. The Arabs believe that dogs are unclean, all except the Saluki. They even let them sleep in their tents.
They are so beautiful!
A lot has to be taken into consideration with the Saluki, but when you've been the caring owner of one you'll experiance a bonding like no other.
Whats this opinion of if you bring up a pitbull the right way, its impossible that they could ever harm somebody? Thats BS...
You can do that with any dog, and its easier to do with other breeds than some. And sure enough, you could do that with a pitbull and it can seem like it never harms anybody. But it still always, ALWAYS, retains that instinct within it, that instinct to fight and kill... and anything could trigger it, anything could annoy it and spur it to attack anyone, even family members.Psychologically inside, they'll always be a time bomb. They are dangerous, period, and anyone who says otherwise really needs to wake the **** up.
Not really, no.Whats this opinion of if you bring up a pitbull the right way, its impossible that they could ever harm somebody? Thats BS...

[QUOTE="loco145"]Pitbulls should be banned.OrianaDortaNo, people who train pitbulls for dog fights should be banned. i dont think dog fights should be illegal. its entertainment same with cockfights. the owner has complete control over the beast . if you can put down the animal you should be able to use it in battle

how do you determine which dogs are dangerous? Dogs that have bit someone are supposed to be put down.I don't think people should be allowed to own dangerous dogs as pets.

Thats the thing.I don't know.Nobody does... thats why they're so dangerous, anything could, and when it does, usually it can be too late.

I was bitten by a daschhund when I was ten, but it didn't get put down. Any breed of dog can bite or attack for any reason. My father works for an insurance company and they get a list of the top ten breeds of dogs that bite, and last year labs and chihuahuas were in the top five.
Hey, I'm all for having pitbulls legal, just as long as the owner is willing to take full responsibility in the case of an accident.-Misanthropic-Are they not responsible now? Or are you saying that if an animal injures a human, the owner of said animal should be treated as if they themselves had directly injured the person, as if with their own hands?
Both. I dunno. I don't like pets.SpidersRMethey smell and they shed and they're irritating and needy, but they are nice.
