No offense if this isn't true, but seems to me like you should rename the thread title to "what bands do you hate?" and in your post say "I hate all "emo" bands like MCR and P!ATD" then have somebody reply with "they aren't emo" (me). I like MCR and they are Alternative Rock. No offense, but it just gets on my nerves to think you did that for this reason.

The Jonas Brothers. McFly. Nine Inch Nails (I love this band but find the name really weird) The Cure. Portishead (I love this band as well but the name is very strange)

imo most band names are weird, but its just a part of what makes each band a little different from the last, so i dont mind. the ones that i find really out there though are throbbing gristle and nocturnal emissions. :? :P

Actually, no. I think those names are terrible. Can you decide for yourself if I'm making this thread just because you think I hate a certain genre? If you really think that, then why even post in the thread? It's a thread for bad band names, not for a genre you think I hate.

I like the name TBH.

My vote goes to most scene bands... Sky Eats Airplane, The Medic Droid, Brokencyde... ugh.  Not only are the bands terrible, but so are their names.

"The Band" always seemed like a really lazy name for a band.

They were still great, though.
