Gaga is the ultimate love it, you hate it artist. Most of her songs on the radio get to number 1 easily and her fashion sense is trippy. There are also a lot of haters around. Every band/artist has got to have some haters around. To be completely honest, I'm not really a big fan of Michael Jackson.

Continuing on, with her being the second most popular celebrity on Facebook (second to only Michael Jackson) and the fact that she has more hits than Jacko. Do you think she'd be remembered?

Will she be an influence to fashion enthusiasts and the general music lovers 10/20 years after she quits/dies?

Don't think so. There's plenty of good music to be remember already.

Unless she OD's or something, shes a pretty big artist and will probably still be making music, though not as much as now of course.

Of course she will. People like katy perry, kesha will be almost forgetten about. Lady Gaga still needs a few more years I think to really cerment herself in the music history books just purely because its becoming an ever increasing list of people to "remember". Anyone to say she is not talented is either musically ignorant or just an 80's metal person with long greasy hair convinced he is the picture of cool lmao. In all honesty she is a pop music icon and she will be remembered. Is there anyone like her at all? I have already seen a few people i.e. beyonce and christania agulera either copy or do songs with her and are quite rightly second fiddle.

I personally think she is pretty awesome and alot more entertaing than most of the drivel we get.

Of course we will, the Spice Girls were huge for only 3-4 years (1996-2000) and everyone still remembers them.

I don't get Lady Gaga, her fashion style is really extrovert and weird (although it's quite the Björk / Roisin Murphy ripoff) but her music is just forgettable commercial crap pop. Her music doesn't have any edge at all. Nope, I'll stick to Björk, she's my empress of weirdness :D

Its possible. I personally do not like her but I can see how she could last awhile in popularity and possibly stay around for decades if she does it right.

Whether or not she'll be remembered in a positive light is a whole different issue...but she will be remembered.
