I understand what he is saying as most people who voted the option 2 pretty much said that if no sex then no relationship and that not having sex with your partner is like being just friends.

Just to throw it out there: No sex doesn't mean no other... physical pleasures.

But as far as dating a girl that wanted to be abstinent forever? No, I would not. I eventually want to have a child so it obviously wouldn't work out.

Well, I've never had sex and I would like to at some point in time, so right now no. Possibly if she agreed to do it just once so we could have the experience, or if she allowed me to cheat on her just once so I could have the experience. If I had already had sex I think I'd probably have to say yes, but then again I don't know that I'd be in love with someone like that in the first place.

I would just be friends.

I really don't think most people understand the magnitude sex has on a relationship. Its very serious stuff. Absolute abstinent is almost guaranteed way to cheat on your partner.
