Nope, but the reason the second option has so many votes is because of lust. Some people just dont seem to understand a relationship without sex.

What? I don't know if you've ever had sex before, and i'm not going ask, because it's none of my buisness, but if you should understand that sex is a natural part of life. All living creatures have sex, it's not the dirty, horrible thing you're trying to make it out to be. "lust" as you call it is a completely normal human emotion, and wanting to have sex with someone you truly love and care about is beautiful.[QUOTE="MetroidPrimePwn"]

So what? Are we suppose to have "true love" everytime we have a relationship with a girl? Men aren't pigs or perverts because we wanna have sex. Women lust too. Get off your high horse.

Well he never said anything you said about his supposed view of sex.I understand what he is saying as most people who voted the option 2 pretty much said that if no sex then no relationship and that not having sex with your partner is like being just friends.
Well, I've never had sex and I would like to at some point in time, so right now no. Possibly if she agreed to do it just once so we could have the experience, or if she allowed me to cheat on her just once so I could have the experience. If I had already had sex I think I'd probably have to say yes, but then again I don't know that I'd be in love with someone like that in the first place.

Neither do you. Stop pretending to (maybe you're trying to). Let's be realistic, if you're having meaningless sex it's likely both parties and guaranteed at least one of the people involved know its meaningless. That doesn't take away from what it represents. As a matter fact, being able to recognize a meaningless sexual act/relationship as meaningless, means you know there's more than one side to it. You don't have to completely abstain to prove a point nor does it discredit an act out of intimacy as simply lust.I cant believe lust is beating true love. :(

sex =/= lust
sex = healthy romantic relationship
The question was not "Would you date a girl only for sex?"...that would be lust
However, the question was "Would you date a girl if she wanted to stay abstinent forever?"
Now, im cool with abstinence until marriage...I mean, my personal belief is why wait? but if someone does want to wait, fine...so long as youre gonna have sex eventually.
but, as has been said, whats the point of a romantic relationship (aka "dating") with another person if things dont get physical.
For the naysayers, I say wait...just wait until you find someone you like. Just wait until you go on some dates, get to know them, spend a few months getting to know them, cuddling up and watching movies. Wait...and eventually, things will get physical with this person you've come to love and you will be overwhelmed with love. Your faith and loyalty to this person will increase, and your relationship will be stronger.
Why? Because while loyalty, respect, and compatability are all solid components of a good relationship, sex is the glue that binds it all together. The components will extend a relationship for as long as they can, but eventually it will fail.
In short:
sexless romantic relationships = eventual fail

Actually yes.
...Hey, she's got to crack sometime.
Just kidding. But in all seriousness, there is no way that someone can stay abstinent forever. Their human urges will soon take over.

How so? Love can do fine without sex. If two people cant love each other without sex then they arent really in love.

If you want to find your significant other and be celibate for the rest of your life, you go right ahead, do what you want.
I really don't think most people understand the magnitude sex has on a relationship. Its very serious stuff. Absolute abstinent is almost guaranteed way to cheat on your partner.
I think I could have a relationship with a hick that does want to do it. She would suck but if shes on topthan I aint lettin her go.
