Heh, I would agree with the "no good guys" part most of the time. That is the problem with war, each side thinks they are the right ones. Though at official level it just boils down to whichever country has more allies agreeing with it's "rightness".
I know a few people here are thinking it is very patriotic and stuff, but it would suck so much! Have you seen Jarhead? That was based on a real story, and I can still remember the scene where he says, "Listen, I don't know what I was doing! I'm 20 years old and stupid." When you aren't bored out of your mind, you're scared as hell. It's kind of hard to say... I can't really answer, to be honest.
Yes if it came to the point where my loved ones were in danger if not neccesarily immediate danger. I would fight for my friends and family and the free people of my country not for the government or in my case the Queen and Gordon Brown.

I love the new age mentality of peace and love over war. Government hasn't changed, we are no different than we used to be back in the 14th century with all of the war. Only now we have nukes so nobody wants to get into a major war.

Well I plan on joining the Army or the Marines after high school, depending on how I feel about college. At the moment I'm leaning Army, because I'll have more career options

Being a sheep is so much fun. No PTSD and no bullet wounds. I certainly appreciate people such as yourself who are courageous, but I myself value my life over just about anything else (well, except for maybe the lives of those I love. You might say that by fighting you are protecting those you love, but if we were really in danger, I would just flee with my family to another country).

Nope I would not, I would fight for my loved ones though, but not my country. Especially the USA, this whole country is controlled by McDonalds, and soon it will be the world.
