Would you keep this girl alive if it were your daughter??

I know it's a really old story but I just stumbled upon it and was interested in more opinions.

I really think it is very cruel to have her alive, from the day she starts going to school life would simply get more and more miserbale for her. She needed special medical treatment to keep her alive so it WOULDNT be murder to let her have peace.

What is your opinion?

I think your perspective would change drastically if it was actually your child. I mean i could say yes now.. but years down the line if i was to have a kid in the same situation i would probably be very against that idea.

More or less my reaction...

From the looks of it the child will be well cared for by a family that loves her. Plastic surgery can be performed. Killing her would just be cruel.

I could never kill my own child, no matter what the circumstances were.

you guys have no idea what it's like to have a child...if so this would never be an option....if she eventually dies later in life so be it..but this is cosmetic....she still will have a personality...a life...will she look like every other kid?..no....but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy the wonder's of life......how did you people get so shallow?....Omni-Slash

What if the parents actually cared for their child despite it not having a face? Perhaps they get joy from their child, despite its problems.
