[QUOTE="MetalGear_Ninty"]Ooh, sounds good, what elements of organic chemistry are you working on?Sky-
Benzene, Friedehl Crafts, Diels Alder, Allylic Systems, etc.
I guess from that, that you are studying it at quite an advanced level? I've studied organic chemistry at a-level (UK, 16-18 ), and haven't came across Diels-Alder, or allyllic systems. But yeah, the first time I realised that benzene was not cyclohexa - 1,3,5 - triene, my mind was officially blown.
[QUOTE="rawsavon"]Yes, I have their patrol schedules mapped out...Sky-
You aren't even a mod!
It's all leisure. We're just regular members here with amazing super abilities that people tend to exaggerate (as in we are corrupted by our "power"). Personally, I'm a bored employee when I don't have a project I'm working on...So I do most of my time here from my actual job.spazzx625
From my experience here, I have not witnessed any of the mods abusing their superpowers...Then again, I actually took a minute and read the ToU so that might be a factor, lol. That's actually kind of admirable that you guys take your own time to moderate the forums; you probably deal with many things that us normal users would never think of. I admit, it would be kind of interesting to be a mod...surely, it would offer me a different perspective on how the forums work.
Personally, I am a bored college student who should be working on Organic Chemistry but is instead posting here. :P
You obviously havent seen me in action then =PI guess from that, that you are studying it at quite an advanced level? I am taking Organic Chemistry II at the university level right now. Some of it is interesting, such as the real world application of all of these reactions, but for the most part, it is a nuisance because of the sheer volume of reactions and nomenclature that you need to memorize. Personally, I prefer physics because I like mathematics and some of the things they teach are really mind-blowing. Right now, we are learning about electricity (electric fields, forces, and potential, series and parallel circuits, magnetism, etc.). Some great stuff right there.

Please don't hurt me!
I wouldn't mind being a mod for Gamespot. Only problem is I don't know much of the other mods to become recommended by other staff as a good candidate. :(

TBH, I'm the opposite, I find anything to do with real-life applications to be less interesting than pure theory -- but yeah, I'm just weird like that. In chemistry class, I'm the only one who groans when we have to do a practical. But yeah, I'm doing about electromagnestism in physics now; basically Faraday's law, flux, flux linkage, magneto motive force etc.I wouldn't mind being a mod for Gamespot. sleep with one of them:|
Heck, no, nor do I ever wish to be one. What a nightmare. I have far too much anger and my mood sways way too much for me to consistently enforce anything. Besides, why would I wish at all to act the disciplinarian to a bunch of strangers? For what? To hold a bit of authority? I don't wish to deal with their disagreements. Blech. You probably couldn't PAY me to be a mod, and if I did I'd more than likely end up getting fired within the first week. I'm not level-headed enough to do it.
