Wtf are you supposed to do when you open a door and see carol singers?

Just now i opened my front door and 3 kids and their mum were singing we wish you a merry christmas. One of the kids didn't look like she wanted to do it,. kinda felt sorry for her. Im guess her mum is forcing her to do this.

So i stood there, watching akwardly as they sang along....i mean wtf am i supposed to do?

So when they finished i said "wow, well done" blah blah blah, and gave them some money (just loose change i keep near the front of the house).

So basically, know i just think that Carol singers are beggars in disguise.......or am i just a scrooge?

Thats the caroller that I always notice, too.

Whats ironic about where I live is that the only place that carollers is the town over, which happens to be one of the richest towns in the country (I live in Fairfield County in Connecticut BTW). They seem to be the only people who have enough Christmas cheer to actually go around in the cold and sing.
