Pretty damn nasty.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Hunger strikers are generally force fed to preserve their life. And?LJS9502_basicMaybe, you know, they're striking cause they still haven't been tried and it turned out that many were innocent and released despite it being years later. Did you even watch the video?

Well it seems like you don't care at all, but just wanted to make some remark and your posting history has always been "The U.S. can do no wrong". So it's pretty natural that I assume that you're going to try and spin this to a non issue. Again, did you WATCH the video?
[QUOTE="m25105"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Don't care? Hmm.....you are the one complaining because they are feeding hunger strikers. Would you prefer they let them die? Then you'd make a thread whining about that.LJS9502_basicHow about they aren't put in a position were all they have left is hunger strike, but that would involve a right to a trial and we can't have that, can we? Where does this right to trial exist? The Geneva convention.
Edit: You still haven't answered if you watched the video. Are you one of those persons who approve of depleted uranium and then ignore all videos/images and articles that it has on the population, cause you just can't be bothered?

Why? It's pretty evident that they're not hunger striking for fun. This video just goes to show what it's the standard procedure in gitmo, which in turn raises awareness that people are still held there without having been tried. Hell, there are still prisoners in gitmo that have been cleared for release, but haven't been yet. One of the more known cases in Europe is the case of Murat Kurnaz, who spent 5 years in gitmo without being charged and it turned out he was innocent.[QUOTE="Blue-Sky"][QUOTE="Jebus213"]

No, I rather post that link so people can see the procedure and then move on from there. And when cases like Murat Kurnaz shows that they've been kept in gitmo despite knowing that they're innocent for over 5 years then we got a problem. I think it's a crime that military servicepersons are being ordered to do this, because they shouldn't be forced to engage in a grotesque procedure to assist deranged Islamic terrorists. The job of these military servicepersons is hard enough without having to do this. Let 'em starve. It's also a crime in my view to provide these animals with gold-plated medical, dental, and optical care. Let 'em rot.
