The girl whose locker is next to mine. I hope nobody knows me here and tells her.R0cky_Racc00nMy sole purpose in life is to find you, and spill the beans.
[QUOTE="Deihjan"]well, I've turned atleast one guy gay :|:lol:Dark_Knight6
How does that work?
Well... ok.. Back in gradeschool I fancied a guy.. and he fancied me.. One day we were walking home together after school, since we lived really close to eachother and we thought it'd be nicer with some company. Well, anyways, I had told the girls from my class that I really liked him, and apparantly one of them had told him...soooo we had a very awkward silence-moment until he said to me "Jeanette, would you ever consider me...boyfriend material??" and I replied "I never thought of that".. And now, he's gay  I don't know exactly how it happened.....Wow dude, that's depressing... Niff_T

How so? Having an amazing imagination can have its benefits... just as long as reality remains separate from fantasy.
Last month I had found a female love interest and she recently told me she has no interest in me romantically. Until I can find someone else, I will continue to fantasize about fictional worlds and people.foxhound_fox
Is this fictional world of yours called mainframe and you have green skin?

Aw, poor guy. Well, at least he'll never have to deal with women. :P
this one girl in my 3rd hour ive known her since fifth grade and now im going to ask her out tommorow (im in 7th grade)
Poor him? Poor me! I walk around and think I'm the kryptonite for men, but instead of making them weak and powerless..I make them gay  :lol:Deihjan
 Sorry, couldn't help but laughing at that. And, if it helps, it could have been that they realised that women, as a whole, are god damn crazy!

Of course, of course. :P Also,. That just may be the first time a woman has agreed with me on that. Most just go "What? No we aren't!" And all I can think is "Thank god guys are hot and not crazy."

Well, for me at least, having a fantasy world is great until you're slapped in the face by reality.
For example, I had a dream last night that involved me and this one girl I talked to frequently last semester seeing each other again and becoming friends. Then I woke up and realized that I have no friends and that she most likely never wants to talk to me again and never enjoyed my company in the first place...
Then again, you touched on that with your first sentence. I really hate it when reality intrudes in on fantasy.

some guys aren't hot, and they're insane... and I've seen my fair share of drop dead gorgeous guys who were more nuts than I  *sighs* why does it have to be so hard finding a soulmate? Two that I can't get my mind off recently
First, and more pressing, the girl in my computer science class. I had Music Appreciation with her last semester, and I've had a crush on her since she struck up conversation in the elevator when I was moving in. I've placed myself firmly in the friend zone, though, and I suppose nothing will ever come of that. A damn shame, because she seems pretty much perfect. Oh well.
Second, a strange situation. the girl in my sociology class last year. The first girl I actually tried to ask out, who completely ignored all my attempts at communication all summer and now goes to a school in another state. Despite the obvious shun, I still can't stop thinking about you. I can't resent you, because you served as the catalyst for the most significant instance of personal improvement in my life (long story).
Hooray for the anonymity of the internet.
A girl I've known and been stuck in the friend zone with for years. I've liked her off and on and she knows it too.Saturos3091Trust me. Sometimes there is a reason that is there. I breached it, and now I'm paying for that. I asked a girl for a date on Valentines day . Wish me luck! It's my first asking out/date (17 is a bit late, I realize)

Well, true. But there seems to be a larger group of hot guys that aren't insane than there is with girls, although, that could just be the way I'm seeing it. :P And if I had to guess, it's because the good things in life often require a lot of work, unfortunatly.

That is why I keep fantasy and reality separate. I created a world in my mind that is a literal impossibility. It contains things that our reality doesn't, which allows me to find comfort in both fantasy and reality, without one or the other intruding on each other's territory. I have a vivid and wild imagination, and I tend to let it run free (too free it seems sometimes) when I don't have any romantic interests in reality.
I guess it is just my way of coping with single life, since I feel incomplete without a romantic partner.foxhound_fox
Perhaps you should get out more? I assure you sir there is a woman out there for you and she is not in OT. So go fishing.

This girl in my AP Lit class. She sits behind me diagonally to the right. Except I'm not sure if I like her yet. But she is cute. And I always make her laugh. :) But since she goes to my school, that's what makes me not want to date her. I don't want to date a girl that goes to the same school as me.
There is also a girl from a school near me that I am talking to. She's pretty, and we are getting along great. We are supposed to be hanging out on Monday, so we'll see what happens.
I get out enough. I spend several hours a day at university and work on weekends. Plus, my personality type isn't very conducive to "fishing" for women.foxhound_fox
Work is a good place for dating. I'll tell you the number 1 though. Parties. Go to parties fox. Women go to parties because they're single. That is IMO the best place to meet and date women. Plus, if you get buzzed you become a little more brave and in my case friendly. And even if you don't drink, a lot of women still go to parties for a boyfriend so you're in good shape. For some reason it doesn't seem like women like being hit on or approached in public areas like the movies or the university. Women are expecting that sort of thing at a party.

I like this person that's not attractive whatsoever, but she's fun to be with, but I don't see how we're so good with each other. I feel like opposites. I'm attractive and skinny and she... not so much and a bit overweight.Genetic_CodeOpposites attract I guess....

You sound somewhat like me like your looking for that one person you wanna be with for the rest of time. If thats true then Im not sure where you are in your life but it might be better to wait till your somewhat settled and know where your going in life.
Thing is, I don't do parties and never have. I prefer spending time with my closer friends whom I know very well than hanging out superficially with a bunch of people I know nothing about and don't have the time to get to know. Like I said, my personality is not conducive to meeting women on a regular basis. I tend to form stronger, more long-lasting bonds with people than fleeting acquaintances.
I will eventually meet a woman who will fall head over heels in love with me... I just have to be patient. Because I'd rather find that person than "hook up" at a party.foxhound_fox
I was the same throughout high school. But boy was I really missing out. Nothing wrong with not going to parties. In most cases but certainly not all, forming a long-lasting bond with a woman will lead you to becoming their best friend, and they would lose possible interest in a relationship with you. I'm probably preaching to your choir right now though. Just be sure to let a girl you like know early on if you're interested in them or not. This is just from my personal experience though. It's good to date many different women so you experience different personalities.
