This one girl I used to have class with a few years back. I liked her, and she liked me but I never did anything about it. Well, I've seen her around in the halls recently and I can't get her out of my head. I figure it's too late now though. I haven't talked to her in years and it would most likely just be awkward if I started talking to her... Oh, well. I'll get over it eventually. :P

I was the same throughout high school. But boy was I really missing out. Nothing wrong with not going to parties. In most cases but certainly not all, forming a long-lasting bond with a woman will lead you to becoming their best friend, and they would lose possible interest in a relationship with you. I'm probably preaching to your choir right now though. Just be sure to let a girl you like know early on if you're interested in them or not. This is just from my personal experience though. It's good to date many different women so you experience different personalities.LikeHaterade

Well I don't doubt that you will meet the right woman bud. You just seem pretty upset because you're lonely now seeing as how you compared your life to "a romantic melo-drama in the vein of 'The Truman Show.'" lol. I just thought that you would want to remedy that loneliness and dating women should help you feel better. Of coarse, if the imagination works at helping you feel better, more power to ya. It worked for me all throughout high school.

Is it wrong that I've never dated in my life (I'm 18 btw). I mean, its not that i don't like girls, in fact there is a girl that i liked not only because of physical attraction. I mean it went deeper than that, but i was too shy to ever say anything to her. I'm regretting that right now since I've seen women that are hotter than her, but i still can't get my mind off of her. I'm 22 and haven't technically been in a relationship yet (a long and complicated story, we both loved each other (at least, I think she did, she never directly said anything but it seemed that way) but were never "boyfriend and girlfriend" due to the distance and her commitment issues).

It is more than normal for people our age to have never dated. Some people take time to start into the dating thing and many don't start until much later.foxhound_fox

I don't want to be one of those people who gets into a relationship just because they're bored of being alone, and so I remain woefully single.

Well, my father's girlfriend's daughter's *That makes sense, right?* has a really hot friend *Blonde hair, blue sparkly eyes....equipped. I'm a sucker for Blondes. Always have been! :D* who knows the way to a guy's heart. I'm told she makes damn good fried chicken :P Real shame I don't get to see her more often. She is surprisingly single still.

Besides her, there are some other pretty women at my school. None I could ever see a relationship with. Though there is one in my Algebra class, she ain't the best looking in general, but she is far from worst. Weird feelin' I tell ya. Too bad she is already taken, lucky guy whoever it is.

on the flip side, i was just molested on a recent snowboarding trip.. after a day on the runs, the group went back to the resort.. soaked in the hot tub a bit then were chilling with a movie and some beers... an hour later shes pulling me on top of her, but she was fairly drunk and i just cant do that.. long story short.. im supposed to go hang out with her this weekend (i know great timing huh... -sigh-) but i just dont think we have much in common.. my morality tells me its wrong to sleep with a girl knowing theres no future in it.. but the little devil on my shoulder is reminding me its been a few years..
