Again, I know. But it's secnd tier metalcore (who knew that could actually exist lol). I prefer Anterior, that's quality metalcore. Bands like AA or Capture the Crown, who are basically an Australian version of AA, should just stop existing. They all sound the same.

Iceozo

Actaully I have a hard time finding a band like AA, there are some similar ones, but AA is special. 8)

It's not hard finding a band that plays a breakdown with a clean chorus that transitions to another breakdown. Everyone on riserecords does it. Go listen to CtC, they're basically AA right from the music even to the damn look.

Nearly all Metalcore bands have breakdowns/clean vocals. AA has a special sound, no other band has gave me eargasims like them. But eh, opinions man.

I see you are a fan of breakdowns and slightly autotuned vocals.

Iceozo

Breakdowns are great? Their clean vocal's was kinda autotuned for their first album. they've gone heavier now, and are sadly diffrent. Not even scene really.

Breakdowns are nice in moderation, but if you have to make your whole song one long breakdown cause you can't write anything else you shouldn't be a band. Heavier? Noooo they just added more breakdowns.

Breakdowns are great, IMO. but yeah, jsut you're opinion. And no, they did had more, but they have a heavier sound to them, less clean vocals and techno, heavier drums and full chords now.

I said breakdowns in moderation, AA play a breakdown and then transition to another breakdown (just like every band on rise records lol). All that Remains don't shove breakdowns the listeners throat for all the "br00tal kids" to mosh to, neither does Anterior. Hell Anterior and AtR are far and above most metalcore bands cause they actually play damn guitar solos. Never hear solos from most other bands in metalcore, probably too hard for their minds to wrap around.

I see you like to be told when to mosh. I also see you like guitar tabs to look like binary, when they can start writing full songs with some skill that aren't lyrically the same I'll start to respect them. But they'd have to drop the vocalist first, he is terrible, the only thing that sounds worse is Andy Biersack screaming.

Like I've said opinions. But Danny is great, and he is great live. I'm asuming you've only seen him while he was f*cked up on achohol and drugs ( which is most of the videos of him on youtube )

I find Rage Against the Machine to be a good band actually, even though I don't listen to them that much. Any reasons in particular as to why you hate those bands?

everything about their music, all 3, annoys me to no end. i hate the vocals in all 3 bands, the flaming liberal lyrics of rage, and i hate ska.

I'm not kidding. I know allot of Metalcore bands, and I cant kind one that sounds allot like AA, theres are some close ones, but none as good. I hope you're right, I'd love to find another band like AA, since they're changing, so what is a band that is very close to AA?

I have never delved into the world of hip-hop, rap ect, so I can't be fair. But what I can safely say, my least favorite musicians going about at moment is anything churned out by Simon Cowl. Will Young did a gig at Edan Project, South West of the UK. I live relatively close to it. I brought a ticket just so I could throw a pebble and do a repeat of a situation nickleback got into. Trouble is I throw like a girl and the stone spun out, I might of hit some random 12 year old girl in the crowd but the sounds of a girl screaming in pain is flooded out by the constant screaming that goes on anyway, like tears in the rain.

Yeah, just cause you don't like it, / something isn't your taste, doesn't mean it's not real music.

OT: "I don't like it, = horrible untalented music."

Sure I can. All it requires is occasional clean singing and an ever constant breakdown. These days anyone can be a musician. And the thing you're not understanding is, that it is straight up bad music. I don't like Rush, but I realise they're freaking amazing and I have no problem with what they do. AA just do the same thing, they never experiment and it's bad but people like it which makes me wonder why. You wouldn't reward your dog for taking a dump on your floor, so why reward a band for being bad?

 You're pathedic. Okay, i think you're confussed of what just heavy playing is, and what an actaul break down is. they don't have a break down throughout all of their songs. "Not The American Average", there is only one part in that song that I'd call an actual breakdown. their song "Someone Somewhere", doesn't even have a breakdown, they do have allot of break downs tho,. Which isn't bad. And again, it's not bad music, only in your taste. And AGAIN, they don't do the same thing, how can they be doing the same thing, when they change their sound from album to album? -.- their new album they're working on now, Danny said it's a "musical baby of Motley Crue And Slipknot." I'm pretty sure that's experimenting with new sounds.

It's not bad , untalented music just cause of ones ( most of OT's ) opinion(s). If you think you can headbutt a guitar and sing/scream and be just as famous as them, go at it! make a video and post it on youtube, so I can laugh.

The band is living their dream, making the music they want, and they're famous as f*ck. They're doing something right baby. 8)

Never heard of either.

Iszdope

If you enjoy Metalcore, look up thier songs "Another Bottle Down." , "A Lesson Never Learned ", ( those are from their newest album ), "A Prophecy", "The Final Episode", ( from their old album ).

I loathe Metalcore.

Prong are the first and ONLY for me.

Cool, well look those songs up. I'm sure their is atleast one song from AA you'll like. Discribe your taste and I could possibly find one. :)

I DON'T KNOW.

I was asking YOU.

-_- I answered it. Asking Alexandria is who we're talking about. But AA can go for another band, "Attack! Attack!".

AA can also stand for Amon Amarth, like DT could stand for Dream Threater or Dark Tranquillity.

I don't think I heard them, I'll look them up.

No, their melodic death metal (Not in a nutshell). Viking metal is a subgenre of black metal.
