I know this channel has been degraded so much over the years,
but is there anyone that still watches this channel? if so what shows do you watch on this channel?

It's easy to make fun of now. Perhaps too easy.
I tend to just look at it as an important catalyst for the evolution of music videos and artist promotion. No amount of sh*tty reality shows can change the fact that the channel was extremely important. As for its future, it doesn't seem very bright so I don't really care.
It stands for Music Television like TLC stands for "the learning channel"
Its garbage. You won't catch me saying a single good thing about that channel. Commedy Central is just about the only good channel of the thousand or so available (besides news channels that air some pretty awesome shows).
That, ESPN, and the Travel Channel are the only ones I like.It stands for Music Television like TLC stands for "the learning channel"

The History channel is going in the same direction.

What's more sad is that I'm fully aware of this and yet still enamored by Ancient Aliens. *sigh*
That Larry the Cable guy sh*t can f*ck off, though.
[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Stupid, doesn't even show music video anymore.ps3theJT
They show music only like at 3 in da morning till 8. Not everyday just some days its random.
I noticed that, who the fawk is up at that time?[QUOTE="ps3theJT"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Stupid, doesn't even show music video anymore.Fightingfan

It took Beavis and Butthead coming back for me to finally care about it. Sick of reality shows. i'm convinced the M stands for "money". because it clearly doesn't stand for music anymore.
120 Minutes, Alternative Nation, Beavis and Butthead and Liquid Television were the days. These days, I'd rather watch Qubo than MTV, and I don't watch Qubo.

Was. Man did it fall from grace.
The epitome of network decline. I stick to MTV Jams now. Though such a shame, I remember when MTV was watchable
Now it seems like its all reality stuff
It's alright. I watch Teen Mom/16 and Pregnant and I used to watch Nitro Circus, Jackass and The Dudesons when they showed them.
I used to watch it in the '80s. In fact it was probably the only channel I did watch. My interest slowly waned until I quit watching it completely around the time that the second season of The Real World was on. I haven't even looked at it in years now. Many years.
MTV is pathetic now, at least in the 90's it helped bands get noticed but now it just plays irrelevant shows like Jersey Shore and reduces intellect like modern pop music. :P
That channel is still on? How are the music videos now?
