Your thoughts on PETA?

what their doing is right. I know a bunch of people think its 'cool' to make fun on them, but PETA does have a good view on animal cruelty, i mean, nobody likes to be abused or skinned alive. The only thing bad about PETA is that sometimes they take it a bit too far. Im against animal cruelty but that wont make me stop eating meat (I LOVE IT)

Oh and, PETA, keep hiring models

The bad thing about PETA is that they are hypocrits (As mentioned before in this thread), they lie to get the voices heard and some of the things they do end up costign the tax payers more money or it ends up working against what they are trying to do. An example would be animal activists poisoning the turkeys around where I live at christmas time. The end result was more turkeys had to be slaughtered in order to provide those turkeys to the public.

If you want to support an animal rights group support the SPCA.

Just found this link about who eating meat and dairy causes cancer.

Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with PETA nor does it put me on PETAs side. This is strictly in defense of a vegetarian diet.

I thought of them of well-meaning tree huggers until they tried to run a newspaper ad about a year ago comparing the murder, decapitation and cannibalization of a young Canadian man to the killing of a chicken.

Now I seek to destroy them.

I hate them and think they are crazy, LOL.

They make us moderate animal lovers look really bad. I mean, really bad. I disagree with many of their methods as well. I do not eat red meat. All I eat is fish and chicken, but I do dislike how people treat animals a lot of the time, but I have to survive. Sorry. This is not a perfect world, PETA, and it never will be. I think animals deserve better, and humans are very abusive, but that's the world. Humans are abusive to humans even more so.

I don't think they get anything done execpt get some B list celebrties to take their clothes off for comercials.

You mean the people who will pass a starving homeless man to save a kitten from a tree? I'm glad they are looking out for animals that are abused, but everything in monderation, and sometimes they take things a little to far. Making pets out to be more important than humans is grossly immoral.
