That I DO agree with. The other two sucked (there's a fourth but I disregard it completely) but many others I speak to love 2 and hated 3.

Most I talk to consider T2 to be far away better than the first. The first was intense, focused, no nonsense (almost slasher like) thrill ride the entire way through. Trying to humanize the Terminator in the 2nd was so stupid. "I know now why you cry, but it's something I can never do...." Please. :roll: A fun but inferior film.

I agree with all of this. I also found the little kid annoying. There was nothing compelling about the relationship between him and the Terminator. It's fun and it stops there. 3 is the same but gets more points for me because of Kristanna Lokken. That's it, really.

I don't consider any of the films past T2 to be part of the canon (right word/use?), mostly because there's no involvement with Cameron, not to mention they're poor films.

That was right, but canon is also an adjective and "to be canon" would also be the right way to say it.

I agree that Cameron was better with those films. I'm not massively keen on his works, though. Avatar was fun in parts but I didn't like it apart from that. It would be better if there were a couple of lines that went like "Remember that planet where we sent those blue human clones?" "Yeah, and now it's time to destroy them all!". The film would also be better if the next movie involved the slaughter of the Navi. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

That's true though, isn't it? Don't most people hate on capitalism for the same reasons that they hate on Bush (i.e. practically no reasons)? For the bad that comes with extreme capitalism, isn't there a lot of good?
