I have installed the Disconnect extension which blocks advertisements, and data collection. It's pretty much like Ghostery except it's not run by an ad company.

I never bothered looking into Ghostery. So that's run by an ad company, huh? Not very encouraging.

This was first done by Opera, and Firefox does it as well. This is not a feature unique to Chrome at all.

I'm not sure uniqueness is all that important when it comes to browsers. All that matters to me is a speedy browser with a clean interface. Of course it's nice that Chrome has plenty of customization options thanks to their Chrome store.

I just find it a strange when somebody lists a reason for using something and that reason is not a USP in any way.

I tend to prefer Chrome, however I also like Firefox. I will use Opera and IE to check website compatibility, but I haven't really done any web work in quite awhile.

Opera is hailed as the most complete web browser upon installation. Apart from that, they introduced features such as the speed dial which all major browsers now use and are generally known as the web browser innovator. Opera has changed quite a bit now, however, and it isn't for the better according to the fans.
