Youtube is my second favorite site. The copyright issue is not too bad, you would expect it because it is such a huge site. I honestly don't have a problem with it.
The only issue I have with YouTube is the copyright issues. I'd have more favorites on YouTube if I didn't have to delete at least half of my favorites that were removed due to copyright! And its many changes! I hate changes! I participated in a blackout when a major change happened.
i don't like them because they try to ban everything, when they tried to ban the abridged series i got really mad, WTF? if anything they have been sponsoring the shows, not getting what you could call a real profit. Also the censorship is kinda lame and the ads are really annoying, thanks adblock.
They're really bad when it comes to handling copyright cases. Rather than ask for proof that the person issuing a complaint actually owns the supposedly infringing material, they just take everything down without a second thought. This has led to abuse of the system by people who just want to get a particular video taken down for some ulterior motive. For example, when venomfangX got youtube to take down one of thunderf00t's videos by claiming that it somehow violated his non-existent copyright or when the Church of Scientology got the infamous Tom Cruise interview taken down. I also hate how now that stupid pop-up eats up the entire screen in the last few seconds of a video now. Is there any way to turn that off? It causes you to miss some of the most important parts of a video, and it renders any videos shorter than 5 seconds completely unwatchable.
