Go to the near-by naval air base and hop into a A-10 and bomb everyone.Xx_CYC756_xX
That would be it.
I'd tell you but I didn't pick up Zombie Survival Guide today. I did pick up WWZ though.MattUD1I, unfortunately, have no books by the author that wrote those books. What's his name? Max Brooks?
I'd go to my local bookstore and buy the "Zombie Survival Handbook" that I've been putting off purchasing so long, just in case I need some guidance in a dangerous situation. Then I would find the materials needed to build a makeshift falmethrower. I would look for a machete and a 12 gauge shotgun if I can. I'd get friends and family and help them split everyone into groups. Whoever I'm with, I convince them to siphon fuel from abandoned cars. Then here comes the hard part, two ways I can get to a safe place. a.) Find out an airport that's far from the starting point of the infection, and buy tickets to Europe where I can stay safe for a certain time. (then I have to abandon all my weapons) b.) Drive eastward from Michigan, get to the coast, sneak onto a freight going to Europe where I'll be safe for a little longer. c.) Find the nearest military base that'll most likely be overcrowded, and wait it out there. I'd be unable to get much food because of such limited supplies, and the infection would probably spread within the base because there's so many people. d.) Go zombie hunting and finding ammunition as I venture into abandoned cities.soldier-dark
i LIKE this guy, he knows what to do, good for him, or did u just read and steal my good knowledge?lol:)

I've given a lot of thought into this subject just in case of the rare chance it happens, because it would be the sweetest thing to say I survived through. I know, I have no life.[QUOTE="soldier-dark"] Then I would find the materials needed to build a makeshift falmethrower. J-link
Why on earth would you do something like this? Instead of regular zombies, you want flaming zombies biting you?
Go buy Zombie Survival Guide and you'll know why. The only way to defeat zombies is to burn their bodies to ashes.[QUOTE="J-link"][QUOTE="soldier-dark"] Then I would find the materials needed to build a makeshift falmethrower. soldier-dark

Headshots don't kill. A zombie is already dead so you can't kill it again. The method that I've heard is you cut off the heads with a machete so they can't bite you, then you burn them as a precaution. The shotgun is because I believe it can tear zombie flesh apart at close enough range. I haven't read the book myself, just the introduction.[QUOTE="J-link"][QUOTE="soldier-dark"][QUOTE="J-link"][QUOTE="soldier-dark"] Then I would find the materials needed to build a makeshift falmethrower. soldier-dark

I prefer to look the whole 'Zombie' genre from scientific point of view (I cracked up at this point, I cant believe I'm writing this:lol: ). I mean, yes, Zombies are essentially dead, but the basic instincts and commands have to come rom somewhere. It's only logical to think that the brain is still working at some level. But I know there are different opinions/stories on this.. I just think some are more silly than others.
Anyways, the basic point was that if you're being surrounded by Zombies, I would much rather have the shotgun than a flamethrower, as it would not killthe darn buggers. They would just keep coming..While being.. Erm... Crispified :P

>_> ....Yeah, sure, let's go with that...hey guys a simple removing of head and destroying the brain(aka Shaun of the Dead style) works, and works best. but if the body is still coming at you headless(yeah right) then just chop the hands off then the worst they can do is bleed on you. But yeah burning the bodies is a sure way to know the zombies have been CRISPIFIED:)premier111Let's just hope they're not 28 Days Later zombies if they start to bleed on you, then you're just screwed.
I think the whole humanity would be screwed if the infection from 28 Days/Weeks later would start to spread globally..Basicly, the only choice would be to wait it out.J-linkUnless you were in the military. You can kill infection zombies with guns. And we always have nukes just in case. By the way, can anybody inform me if 28 Weeks Later was any good?
[QUOTE="dreDREb13"]Why can't we make peace with the zombies?Yoshi_Hunter
YOUR ONE OF THEM ARENT YOU!?!?!??!!
Ahh! RUN!
It would be so easy. I would load up a truck with all of my ammunition & banoleers and my guns then throw on my load bearing equipment. load up on shotgun & rifle shells and magazines.
pack my S&W .357 snub nose then leftshoulder my S&W.44 Magnum then rightshoulder my .357 Colt. Holster my Sig 226, Kimber 1911, Springfield 1911 & Colt 1991 and maybe my Beretta 92. Keep my Beretta 84 as a last resort. During a zombis scenario you can never have too many backup weapons.
Sling My Springfield M1A and sling my remington 870 on the left shoulder with a crossover sling. Finally two scavards on the back of my LBE or vestvest. Left Scavard would have my Kimber .300 Magnum and the right would have my mossberg 500.
Then I could keep my other long gun on gun rack in me van with the ammuniton cans on the floor and bandoleers hanging. That way I could quickly reamr or switch guns or get a new one. Such as me M1 Carbine or AR-15 or coach gun.
The best vehcle would be something with a dozer blade and treads. Like bull dozer. I would have to aquire one of those. Finally hit the hardware stores, pharmacys, gas stations and grocery stores to get supplies to make bombs.
Most imortant secure High ground or a safe place to operate from.

I have to say, a CIRAS, a Remington 870 Express, AR-15 in the M4 configuration, with a cranestock and I would be set. Of course, my CIRAS holds 8 M4 mags, a 1 liter of water, a medkit, and a good amount of shot shells. I have to say, I think I would be alright if I had all of that, plus an F-150.

It's decent, it has like three awesome parts, but not the greatest camera work and actors(lots of throwaways)

Of course, the problemis that the darn thing spreads so fast. Endless masses of zombies that can run.. Even the military would be in trouble. And yeah, there's nukes, but that what does that solve? Sure, you'd get rid of the infection but instead you would have to deal with nuclear radiation.
28 Weeks is alright.. Not as brilliant as Days but it has it's good points.

Wow i think you guys are thinking too macho. Ever heard of plenty of guns but no bullets? I say keep two pistols, one rifle, one shotgun and keep a ton of ammo. you are killing everyone that got infected remember?

Yeah the movie was great, but the English kids being generally retarded throughout the entire movie takes away from it. Also, the camera work during the most awesome part really gets to you after a while. My favorite Zombie movies are:
All 3 of the Resident Evil Films
Dawn of the Dead
28 days/weeks later.
I can't remember the other one I liked.

Yeah the camera durng the zombie atack scenes have a rate of like 5 per second change so it gets very confusing and sickening to watch, and the other movie your talking about is Land of the Dead
