In my case, No stores within 25k's of me stock it, they stock XP. Plus I've never had a serious problem with XP that I didn't cause myself :P

The on-line banking software my bank provides only works in Windows XP at the moment. Plus, there is no real need to switch to Vista until Vista-only games and applications start showing up...

I originally wasn't switching because I refuse to be an early adopter of any MS software. I do not pay other people to be their Beta tester. Later, I didn't switch because of the rumors of game compatability issues, and because of stories of slower systems with Vista. Figured I'd wait still longer, see if they got more bugs worked out. Now, I won't switch because I've had a chance to use it. My wife's new laptop has Vista on it, and I really dislike it. It feels clunky, awkward and completely unintuitive. It's like sitting down at a Mac. I can get it to work, but it's not easy or natural. So, I guess I can say I'm not on Vista because I genuinely don't like the interface.

Because I'd have to uninstall Leopard to install Vista, and that would be just silly.

if it aint broke, dont fix it.

XP isnt broken, and I can afford Vista anyway. Though I could have a couple months back but I still didnt buy it.

XP is like my Jeep: its old, but I wouldnt trade it for anything new unless it were very much alike.

Actually as I understand Vista (with SP1) is on par with game performance in XP so that no longer holds true. Regardless, the reason I'm not moving to Vista is because XP does everything I need it to do and it is still being supported. Also with Windows 7 coming out relatively soon I think it would be a waste of money to upgrade to Vista.
