not only that but on techpowerup they said the 5850 will be faster then the gtx 285 and its at such a lower price point makes me think what the 5870 will be like or even the 5870 x2:o
oh i also forgot to say the 5770 which will be the midrange card will be alittle bit faster then a 4870 and there lowend to be around the speeds of 3650/3870 range. and i cant see the 5770 being priced more then 150... poor nvidia is probably scared
edit: btw this is has been listed on techpowerup.com news page it was during this week

Time to get a job and indulge myself, drooools. Thanks for info. Nvidia better be scared LOL.
well they should be.. they re going to release a fast card yes. but they are not getting any good yield what so ever. they are about 20-30% and they will release it a high price. Since software has not caught up to the hardware people can buy ati's card for a cheap price and be able to max out most games or atleast 360/ps3 level and get great price/performance ratio. Nidia will have to be aggressive with their price or they will be in trouble
Hi. I hate to burst everyone's bubble but you have to remember everytime
a new class of GPU is released, only the lucky few with fast fingers on the
check out button over at Newegg are going to get cards. The rest of us
will be playing the in stock - out of stock game. It happens everytime.
i no these cards are dx11 but how much faster than the 4890 are they? cos i was thinking about getting a second 4890 which will prob go down in price again
i not really to bothered bout dx11 yet two 4890's and a decent cpu n ram good enough to play most games
The HD 4770 business. I cannot believe it is still going on.Hi. I hate to burst everyone's bubble but you have to remember everytime

what nm are these cards ? will they run cool? will they require too much power? vegita9240nm - 35nm, they will run very cool, they will consume less power.
Is this confirmed? I might sell my GTX 275 for $200 and get a 5850, if they really are faster than the GTX 285. Again, is the speed, price and release date CONFIRMED?
urdead18
not totally confirmed but just about. well at least the date. price and speed no. and who would buy a used GTX275 for $200 when you can get a ne wone for less?

I'm Canadian, the cheapest GTX 275 here is $235 + taxes and shipping so, I think $200 would be fair, considering I got it a month or 2 ago.[QUOTE="washd123"][QUOTE="urdead18"]

Which is why I asked if it was confirmed so I could sell my card before the new ones come...yeah i bought my 4870 not even a year ago for 300$ and withing the upcoming months a midrange card the 5770 will perform better while costing 150$ or less :(. but i defiantly wont upgrade as i see no need to im happy with how every game runs so far at 1920x1200 once more demanding games start coming out i will upgrade.Technology move way too fast, just upgraded to 4870 and now this come out.

I love the missing link :)
Anyway these people saying they are going to sell their GTX2** cards are ****'ing mad in my eyes!
Only $300? So what? I payed $250 for my card, now I will probably get around $100 for it, and it gets to $200. Is that expensive? That is hella cheap! People, don't get 5850, it will be midrange very soon (if even on start). Boy I can't wait for them. Sad that on 10th they are only presenting them or whatever... I wanna dx11 cardz... :(
yeah it sure ati can need few rma on there high end product and have issue but machine_B the HD4000 was the revolution if you ad ati before it was maybe HD3870 which ain't any near of stable as the HD4000's but again HD5000 is where the Real step will go according what all being said it should be even more stable and balanced then ever
But Again nvidia will remain the leader of Physic X effect and unless there an way to ATI user have Physic X they will suffer sales latelty as DX11 Will offer bunch of new Physic X effect among with GT300 But Because they may take 3-5 month before Gt300 ATI WILL have gain a huge economy boost and hopefully to do someting effective in bring more Powerfull HD5000 series quicker then rival to earn again more money
I wouldnt count on it, Crysis gets pretty much zero benefit after the second card.this is whats going to happen, ati will release the 5870x2 and somebody will be rich enough to duo or tri crossfire and well get up to 125+ fps in crysis.
