Bobby Kotick is a vile little gremlin who saw a chance to make a lot of money in video games and jumped on it. He does absolutely nothing to hide the fact that he wants as much money as possible. In fact, any time he's approached with an accusation of damaging the integrity of the medium, he seems bewildered as if he can't comprehend why anybody would take anything into account other than money when it comes to making videogames. This makes him dangerous to those of us who really do enjoy video games, as he doesn't even shrug in embarrassment when he gets caught in a red-handed cash grab, such as the partnership that led to the $10 xbox live price hike or this latest modern warfare subscription garbage. That's because he is, by nature, a sociopathic parasite who will take take take as much as he can, even if it leaves the videogame industry that we love so much in ruins. He simply doesn't have the capacity to care.

So when he spits a little vitriol at a game that I'm looking forward to, I can't help but feel that it's some sort of small victory. Maybe with a miracle the CoD franchise will flop on its bloated ass and he'll somehow get pushed out of the industry to find something else he can ruin.

More than half of his company's revenue comes from 12 million people paying 15 bucks a month.

Thats more active than CoD.

WoW's audience is WoW's audience, not Call of Duty's, Battlefield's or any other MMO's.

Battlefield has a larger market on PC than on consoles, but all four together (including the WiiU version) are smaller than Call of Duty's console audience.

A entire population of gamers isnt going to dramaticly change in 4 years and if anything, I would guess that PC gaming has grown since then. Still waiting for proof of any kind on your end.

Inside Mr. Kotick's mind the BF series is just the same rehash that the CoD series has become. It's all he understands. That is to rehash a series to death and then find a new one all in the name of profits. So to him the CoD series, which has a smaller audience on PC than on consoles, will also apply to the BF series. After the backstabbing and lie fest that was MW2 and the lack of PC gamers willingness to get milked for it Mr Kotick didn't want anything more to do with the group. So he will downplay the group anytime he gets the chance to do so.

I really don't care about anything that tool says.

I watched the video- does he have a neck? Like literally, his head was right on his shoulders.

He sees us (PC gamers) as a unimportant audience, because we so "small"

After all is said and done MW3 is going to out sell BF3. You can talk about how big the market is or how smart it is or what ever you want. Nothing about that is going to change. Personally, I not going to buy either cause I'm tired of this style of FPS.

They're talking about not showing it on consoles so I think he's saying that the PC is a small community by itself. And thats true, when you separate it from 2 major console platforms. People shouldn't take this as a personal attack.

More concerning is the fact that they stole my gag! "Third Station Of Play and the Three Hundred and Sixtieth Box Of X" I've been saying a variation on that for years :(

That doesn't say much though because you don't know what those people are buying. More people have computers but, how many are equip to really play modern games that are at least at the xbox360 level.

If you look at some of the best and recent PC releases say SC2

Even WOW with its 10 million player base took years to build.

Black Ops has sold 13.7 million copies in NA alone in around 4 month.

I didn't find exact figures for worldwide sales but, from this we can estimate the numbers are way over 20 million.

Bobby also has said the pre-orders and figures show that MW3 is going to sell more than Black Ops. So I don't see a reason why everyone is hating on him when he said the truth. He's not worried about BF3 and especially not worried about the PC gamers that are going to buy BF3.

Around a year from now another Call of Duty is going to come out and you know what. It's going to make even more money.
