Duke Nukem Forever is more fun than Crysis 2.

Duke nukem forever is just a big dissapointment admit it, they had tons of time to make it "the game" but instead they were lazy and made low level FPS.rotembo

DNF is a disappointment yes, but Crysis 2 is far more disappointing compared to its big brother Crysis 1. Both were massive downgrades and I happen to prefer DNF a lot more.

Even though i never played DNF i most disagree with you, i think all crysis games are way better than Duke Nukem Forever, crysis has great graphics(something that DNF doesn´t have),for what i saw in videos duke gameplay isn´t as fun as crysis but the aliens in duke in my perspective are very cool.

also Duke nukem had a great potential but gearbox maybe didn´t work hard to make a great game as it predecessors

Instead of recreating the magic that was the original Crysis, they turned it into a linear, on the rails sort of shooter with no soul or creativity. There were so many Michael Bay-esque scripted scenes that I wondered if I was playing a sci-fi version of Modern Warfare or not.

Expectations do factor themselves in. My expectations for DNF were far lower.

they basically copied a bunch of sci fi movies into cod and added a "suit", thats crysis 2, maybe i was expecting too much after crysis 1 but it was a failure to me.

i'm really disappointed with DNF cuz i thought it wasn't sexy enough, i didn't expect anything from the gameplay but i thought their jokes could at least makes me lol once.

besides, crysis2 is a game for you to feel the graphic the environment rather than to play for fun..

I think it's because with a game like Crysis 2, your expectations are so high that it disappoints you.

But Duke Nukem, you know it sucks and your just playing for fun and it ends up being more enjoyable.

Fun..yes I did have more fun playing 2 hours of DNF than the 10 hours of Crysis 2, both great games but C2 footsteps annoyed me, an upgrade slightly fixed that problem though.

Or maybe its simply the truth in this case. DNF is a turd of a game. I am a major Duke fan, but there are parts of the game that really pissed me off, and Duke has become stale as a character. Grayson Hunt and General Serrano from Bulletstrom and Serious Sam Stone from Serious Sam are all better characters and are funnier than Duke on so many levels.

People need to stop comparing Crysis 2 to the first one. I know its hard to do. But I loved Crysis 2. Its a very good game for what it is. I played it before I played crysis 1 and I loved it. I can see how much of a let down it was though

Gunfights require just as much 'tactics' as they do in Crysis 1. Which means hardly any at all. The only thing that is nerfed compared to the original Nanosuit is speed mode. Armor mode protects you better, stealth lasts longer, and both can be combined with strength mode. It doesn't play anything like Call of Duty.

Warhead had some bigger areas, but the level design was far more boring than anything in C2. C1 has better level design and gameplay scenarios than both.

You can manipulate nearly everything in C2's environments as well, the only thing it's missing is palm trees and shacks.

I've been playing Crysis for the past 4 years. The AI is just as prone to do stupid ass things like turn around and walk away from the player mid-fight or stare at a wall.

Aliens are far better in C2, what do you mean they are a joke? They were a joke in C1, when the game became more linear than anything you see in C2.

Why are you bringing up Smoke, fog, dirt, and particle effects? They're present in C2, and better. Just like the lighting and animations.

Minus STALKER and Half Life 2....there wasn't anything else like Crysis out there? Those games aren't anything like Crysis.

you are deluding yourself if you think thats why people dont like it, you are loving it good for you but they transformed crysis 1 which i loved into a sci fi cod clone.

Well put. I don't like or understand the way the word "Fact" is thrown around in these forums. The way they are used brings the old quote "Facts are the enemy of the truth" to my mind.

Crysis 2 wasnt that great but DNF is just a ****ing terrible game.
