Duke Nukem Forever is more fun than Crysis 2.

Yeah, Crysis 2 is a much better game than DNF. Infact I can't even think of a way in which DNF beats Crysis 2.

Well Said, too many people around the globe confuse Belief for facts (looks at religion)... A lot of people on these forums do it in practically the same way.

Objective and Subjective are ironically the synonyms used to replace them on these forums, I see these just as much as FACT. Still so easily confused in the Masses.

Enough with the FACTs until you understand what they are! FACT is I never Said Crysis 2 or ME2 were bad games, FACT I actually look forward to playing them, I just beat Crysis 1 a couple days ago, then I will do Crysis Warhead, and hopefully pick up Crysis 2 during this STeam Summer sale!

I loved ME, (xbox360, think I found a close enough Save file to my own for the pc, for when I get ME2) Which I also plan to get during Steam's Summer Sale!

Same for DNF (I haven't played it, but I plan to pick it up on sale whenever, hopefully Steam Summer Sale)

Well I just finished Crysis 2 and it was pretty damn awesome, looked amazing even compared to Crysis 1, the great lighting was still there especially when you get in the heart of the city, also noticed the game had bits of the same real looking bushes from Crysis 1. I know people haev said its not as great as Crysis 1, now that I have played it all I still dont think its as bad as people say, it definatly isnt as dumbed down as I had heard and I am glad to play it. Shame there wasnt much to destroy but the action seemed to be more fun this time around. Great game imo, and better multiplayer than Crysis Wars was by far.V4LENT1NE

Gamers have spoken. Crysis 2 is a significantly better game than DNF.

Both games are first person shooters involving a hero fighting an alien invasion. They also happen to be the only first person shooters from 2011 I have played this year.

But... for some reason, I just found DNF more fun than Crysis 2. Yes, the gameplay mechanics are rough and the hit detection is off, and the game isn't as pretty, but it's more fun shooting up pigcops and octobrains than it was to mow down legions of faceless Crynet soldiers in Crysis 2.

Duke Nukem Forever is a return to the good old FPS era. No stupid private ryan war theme, no mindless heroes, no jerkin to graphics and no game susbtance. Duke has personality and playing him is good enough for the entire game. Multiplayer? Who cares. People are so forever alone these days they play games to socialize, when there was no need for this back in the gold age of games where you would call your firends to play at home. The counterstrike and teamfortress generation KILLED the FPS genre. COD, HALO these are not games, just graphic masturbation for brainless players who gets more satisfied about their PC Rigs than having a girlfriend. Duke is back to kick all these poor players some butt, including Kevin Awkward, the reviewer. You can't believe how a bald guy whos probably on his 30-40's can consider HALO a good FPS and give this a 3.5. Graphics and Multiplayer ARE NOT requiements of any good game. Why Super Meatball whatever game got such a good grade if it has NES graphics???? Because its pure fun. Same as DNF. But Kevin Awkward is probably a console player.MegamanX2011

Welcome to Gamespot, I see your new. In part I agree about how the graphics and multiplayer have diluted the gameplay and made games not as fun as I thought they use to be. However (and there's always a however in life) why does having a gaming computer and girlfriend (in my case wife and son) have to be mutually exclusive? In fact all three of us has their own computer and all can play games. My son and I do coop regularly in games we can. People like games for their own reasons and I find little wrong with that but I don't believe calling others names and puting down what they like a positive thing. Just sayin'.

Pardon me, but DNF has absolutely nothing to do with the "good old FPS era".

The only things DNF has in common with DN3D are the name and the PoV.

DN3D allows you to use 9 weapons at time, has very open levels, doesn't have facepalm worthy minigames or mechanics (riding the toy car and driving it through the remote, Duke Nukem vision, execution), has excellent gunplay and humor, barely any talking.

DNF...2 weapons system, poo play, abysmal humor, too long talk sessions for a f'ing Duke Nukem game, I could go on but thinking how bad DNF is compared to DN3D makes me a sad panda.

People more like Crysis 2 because the graphic. no doubt about that. they have great texture, effect, lightning,etc. without that crysis just like standard fps, only go to one objective, killing aliens, collect ammo, and so on. DNF is more enjoyable because you can play many minigames and so interactive, because for example you can draw picture in white board. but people today only give 'big point' in graphic. fred2236

i think both are pretty bad but at least i managed to finish crysis 2, dnf i wanted to burn it but ended up in a friends house

Crysis is my #1 favorite game of all time. That being said, I had astronomically high expectations for Crysis 2. I played through the entire campaign waiting for it to get fun, but it never happened. They took away away everything that I loved about Crysis and turned Crysis 2 into a forgettable FPS. I have never played DNF, but I would not be the least bit surprised if it is more fun that Crysis 2. That's not really saying a whole lot after all.

Eh, I at least finished Crysis 2 and enjoyed it, but it did start getting tedious towards the last couple hours. DNF on the other hand, I played for about 2 hours and just never touched again. Granted, I played Crysis 2 on PC versus DNF as a redbox rental on the PS3, still after just a couple hours DNF was unbearable.

While Crysis 2 sucks, it's not like it's DNF bad lol, BE REASONABLE.JigglyWiggly_
