yea GTA IV is a large game, but it'd be done by now (going on six hours now :( ) and its only at 37% lol. Its not even downloading now, its just stuck haha

We might but there are a lot of games that are not on sale right now that could be going on sale in the next few days so I don't know why they would drop one game in price again. It would make anyone who bought it the previous day rage really hard and they would be justified in my mind.

and Clear Sky for 32 bones. Really good deals, especially Witcher which I've been waiting for a price drop for a damn long time. Also Clear Sky. Still debating on some titles like Plants vs. Zombies and others but I'll wait and see what else pops up in the 48 hr deals.

All Im hoping for out of the COD games is Call of Duty1 with the expansion pack for 50% off! hehe, loved those games.

Thats awesome bud, i did the same thing actually. I have been gaming on computer for like 20 years but I stopped for like 3-4 years and just the other year I put a new computer together and man its been so great to me. I to got my pc near feb aswell (Feb 2010 will be 2nd year for my new pc).

I bought The Witcher, Crysis and afew steam games before the computer was ready and man when I finally got my new computer set up I was so excited haha. Had these sweet games waiting for me that I had wanted to play for a bit, great times. It was such a great feeling to be back in PC gaming. And since ive been dealing with some bad health issues, its really helped to take my mind off things.. like being in the hospital alot,etc..

I bought GTA IV already and will watch the daily deals before i start buying everything i want. Wouldn't want to buy something then have it go even cheaper the next day. That eidos pack is very tempting. And by the way I was looking at the current top sellers, and number 6 is modern warfare 2. I'm surprised that it is up there on the top sellers when it is $60 and there are so many amazing games for under $10, I just don't understand!

I got GTA IV, Killing Floor, Lucasarts Adventure Pack and um Alpha Prime since it was just $1. All of which was for a total of $21. I feel fullfilled pretty much. :)

I hope to see Arma 2 show up in one of the daily deals however.

As a side thought, when I think of the rest of the digital services that boycotted MW2, who were thinking that they were on the right road to showing up steam... I want to say that their act was shortsighted, but who could've predicted something as big as this? lol

Thanks for the compliment. I got lucky here. I have worked 95 hours in the past two weeks so this is the perfect time for a sale on Steam. Times like these really do make me proud and happy to be a PC gamer. You will never see deals like this on the consoles.

So far I've low on the Steam sales and only boughtDefense Grid: The Awakeningfor $2.49 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theoryfor $4.99. I already have STALKER: SoC.

So my total has been $7.48 for this tower defense game and stealth game, both highly rated.Quite pleased with that.

Waiting for Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Batman, and Modern Warfare to drop in price.

I can't believe today is december 24th and they post crappy games on the list...i was gonna get some extra gifts to friends, but i guess yesterday's purchase will have to do.

Yeah todays sales are fairly disappointing. Can pick up NFS, L4D2 and FM2010 at retail.

Had hoped FM2010 would go on sale but was hoping it would be cheaper than that.

All these massive sales are just on huge packs or old games that nobody would actually buy at full price. E.g. 80% off an iD pack, nobody would pay full price for a collection of old games (most of which you've probably played at some point). I'm waiting for good sales on the new games that aren't just $10 off.F1_2004

Maybe by midnight tonight I can finally play Clear sky when it finished DLing. Oh how slow your are DL speeds. I don't even want to know how long the witcher will take...

Got mirrors edge, stalker, and r6v2 all in all for aorund $12 last night. Amazing deal! Now I am waiting to see their deals for tomorrow because todays don't really interest me.
