Yes it can. It doesnt do it automatically, you have to manually set it to 1080p. Also look at the resolution of the benchmarks. Lets see any nvidia card do that

1080p has been on PC for both ATI and Nvidia GPU's for a long time. Even the Geforce 4 Titanium which was from 2002 if i am not mistaken.

i said 12270x5160 because i saw it running at that resolution so im certain its possible.
