Obvious troll?

Its like other PC's on the same level... Just 2-4 times more expensive + less Software that work for it.

its just apple is so stupid, because they charge for updates and i heard there major update recently only supports the 3g, while the first gen and second cant or are having problems with it, its like every year they release a no real update new model leaving the previous owners in the dust. So they can scam more people into buying a newer one when they just bought one 6 months before. There are also other mp3 players with better sound quality as well. It's all about preferences i guess, to each his own3/10. I hated them during middle school and high school. They got better when I was at college, but still not someting I would personally get, especially as a gaming platform.
As general computers they are considerably better than Windows PC's but for gaming they still suck! This might change in a few years though.
I love mine! Find it be more reliable/powerful and much better for gaming. Your opinion?XLXLXOXRXTX6/10 if your into indie games.. if not I'd say 1/10, actually 2/10... as it sounds like I actually mean it.
Let me see here, Macs are overpriced with somewhat out-of-date hardware. It has been proven here that the Mac OSX gets noticabely lower frames than on Windows 7 for Portal. Its good if you want an office PC, but as for gaming, its a 3/10 for me.
I bought a macbook pro a few months back and I love it. Of course macs aren't great for gaming, but they were never really meant for it either. I have a 360 and desktop for that. As far as my laptop goes though... It is amazing. I have had other laptops and I must say now that I have the mac book pro I will never go back. The quality is amazing and for the size it packs quite a bit. I love the touchpad on the mouse. There are so many shortcuts you can use with the mouse pad to make things go faster. Also the programs you can use on the mac for photo's, video's, documents are awesome. I am into video editing and Final Cut Pro is the best editing software out there... Only available on the mac. Yeah I admit there are disadvantages to the mac, but hating on the mac because they're not great for gaming is stupid. Thats like complaining about your phone because it takes crappy quality photo's or your MP3 player cause it has bad video quality. Mac's were designed for a specific reason and they weren't really designed to be a hardcore gaming machine. I would love to play games on my mac... and I do play a few, but I also have my 360 and desktop for that. I have to say other than games, I prefer to do EVERYTHING else on the mac.

depends what you buy it for...the selling point of the touch is everything but the music and they have not improved the actual music hardware in a few gens...other brands like samsung sell players that play music better and at a fraction of the price. With macs though i agree with your comment fully.Mac is just software; Snow Leopard or OSX.... I have Snow Leopard partitioned on a harddrive on this comp. Absolute rubbish OS for gaming.... framerate shaved by 30% across the board and a pile of games don't even work properly. Worst part is that pre built macs have HORRIBLE FRIGGING SPECS FOR THEIR MONEY!! Good god! I would say 2/10 in all honesty.Bigsteve3570
Just curious. What Mac games are you running? Also, what do you use for a framerate counter?

YOu come off sounding like a fanboy a tad bit lol. But for gaming I don't like them ,but when it comes to software they are nice but just so overpriced.

Troll much?
for gaming macs are considerably worse, but for everything else, PC and mac are pretty much the same. easy of use is relative because it just depends on what you use more (i find windows 7 really easy to use mostly because i am used to it, if i switched to mac, i find it a bit confusing). the one big plus that PC has though is hardware.

I find the quality of video playback on OSX better than either Windows or Linux, expecially DVD playback. That's the first thing I noticed when we bought our Mini. The bundled iLife software suite isn't the best. They're just average to me. But, they're better than most software that comes with Win 7. I much prefer iMovieHD over Windows Live MovieMaker, for example.

-_-' you do know we can play movies without using any of the software that comes with windows right? Because I use Windows Media Player Classic and it plays every kind of movie when you download the right codecs I think it even plays VHS movies. And could you describe why the Mac movie playback is so amazing?I really love that mac users installing Windows to play games and saying how gaming is great on mac. And as a side note; i saw a video couple of days ago someone playing GTA4 on (with texture resolution is low) a mac and saying "Lolllll people are shocked when they see you can game on mac". Yeah cool story bro.

And could you describe why the Mac movie playback is so amazing? It was most apparent in DVD playback. Looking at screencaps, I used iShot to capture images in OSX. iShot seems to have a problem with the captured images being darker than the source ( I have similar problems with FRAPS on Windows). The Windows WMP image is a direct PrtScn. In actual viewing of both videos they have the same brightness on the same HP monitor. Maybe its the compositing on OSX vs the one in Win 7. Or perhaps it's the calibration. But, I (plus the wife and kid) liked the OSX QT playback better. The dithering on the OSX QT is much less apparent.
