Okay, I see your point about having super-human abilities, yet there are a ton of gamesout there where your character has abilities like super strength and super armor. To compareCrysis to Deus Ex is like comparing Deus Ex to Superman because he has super strength and (more or less) super armor. And Cloak? Deus Ex ripped that off of Predator. Super Speed? I can't tell you howmany times I've seen characters with super-human speed. So, by your own logic, Deus Ex is just a copy off of a dozen games, movies, comics, TV shows, and novels that came before it.

Anyway, I wouldn't say Crysis is a copy off of Deus Ex. Other then the fact that your character has super-human abilities (just like thousands of other games, including Deus Ex), the two games can't really be compared to each other, save perhaps, the first-person-perspective.

Now, I agree, Crysis is far from revolutionary. But, it's is very evolutionary. I know most people don't care about graphics anymore, but Crytek did an amazing job raising the standard for visual quality and cutting edge graphical effects. But like I said, my heart is with The Witcher.

why are so many people saying orange box? i love half life but my god its just a rehash (aka expansion)of a 3 year old game, as good as it was and as good as it still is i dont think it can compare to bioshock or crysis which are games that can be clearly seen as ahead of the orange box's time. imo anyway :P

i dont really know what game to pick, id have to say crysis, stalker or bioshock they just breathed so much new life into a great but unoriginal genre for me in terms of quality and innovation.

Man World in Conflict all the way cause it is one of the most innovative and intense RTS that came out this year. Like the time Dawn of War came out and that made used a new system of resource gathering and that is what makes World in Conflict so unique. It was such a refreshing game I didn't leave the game until I ended it. Than there is the fact that a lot of good RTS came out this year I loved COH:Opposing Fronts and also Tiberium Wars. But company of heroes was more of the tried and tested where as Tiberium War was a throw back to the old RTS.

Crysis I enjoyed playing I think it out did COD 4 but for me it also felt a little stale as far as the story went, cause I had seen it in Farcry and kind of reminded me of it at certain point for me since I am an FF fan the story really didn't do it for me.so for me the winner is

WORLD in CONFLICT :D

cod 4 was the best to me...

i have crysis, bioshock, witcher, hl2...

cod 4 was the only game i couldnt stop playin till the end...its just a great game all around.

I say Bioshock . if Crysis is the game of the year , I'll commit suicide
