I am having low frame rate issues with this game even with a GTX580. It does not seem to matter if i lower settings, turn off Physx/ 3D or reduce resolution. How well is the game running for everone else?

its only the dx11 effects that are messed, other wise it runs fantastic. It can't run on max even with a 580? I was planning on getting the game myself, but this a bummer. :/

So you can pretty much max out the settings on a GTX580, with DX9 turned on??
Why did we have to wait 5 weeks extra for????? Very disappointing...

pretty much max on a 460 without dx11.Hmm Hopefully a patch will come out for it that will fix the DX11 performance issues with it. I will wait a bit then, before I get it.
Lach0121
of course one will
Yea game is terrible, shame on them, they should do like every other company that releases a multiplatform game (even PC exclusives), enhance it but not fast then fix it later, they should give us the game after an year.they delay the game a month and it already needs patching?

As everyone already said, game works fine, what doesn't, yet, is the "way beyond" the "multiplatform" version settings.
I heard ATI put out some new drivers that improve DX 11 performance. Might help those with ATI cards.
Yea, I have the same issue with a gtx580, average is 30 in the benchmark everything maxed dx11 high, physics normal. I was expecting much better performance. I guess we have to wait for new drivers fron nivida, this is really getting annoying EVERY game nowadays is released with some kinda of major issue.
I have a gtx 580 with a gtx 460 for physx and the performance is complete crap in DX11. No I see why the game was delayed, it's not finished.FPSfan1985Wow, that's ridiculous. It's one thing for the game to be poorly optimized, but this sounds like straight up laziness on the developers' part.
Wasn't Arkham Asylum unplayable right at launch? Not saying it justifies anything, but not sure why everyone is surprised. :?

When did they release this? I checked their website and didn't see any new drivers (last CCC was from 11/15 and last CAP was from 11/18)
People, stop blaming consoles for the delay and the performance issues, the developers have the blame, not the other systems. Under the same logic Cryostasis should be perfectly playable because it's a PC exclusive.
Anyways, I'll wait for a patch or new drivers.

You could play AA on launch without PhysX perfectly, but my poor GTX 260 couldn't even run the game at max settings, no AA, 1440X900 and PhysX on medium at more than 30-40 FPS (Even though the launcher says that it's recommended to use a GTX 260 for PhysX on medium).

Somebody hurry and "lend" me their wallet...they should of just removed dx11, now they will have pc elitists swearing at them. They could of patched it in when it was ready, like crysis 2 or shogun 2.

Somebody hurry and "lend" me their wallet... i got it for right cheap from someone who got it free with their gpu :) I havent even played much, skyrim is hard to leave alone.I don't get it , does the game run fine without DX11 or not? GeneralShowzer50-60fps for me with everything turned on and detail set to very high(physx is at normal and dxll is turned off). 1920x1080 FXAA(High) GTX 570 PHENOM II 955 at 3.8GHz
Quick question guys... I just bought a retail copy, but it doesn't come up in my Steam library. I thought this was a GFWL & Steam game?? I was hoping not to have to use the DVD to play it all the time?? hrt_rulz01
It's been stated that only the Steam version uses Steam, but still has to use GFWL as well (weird if you ask me). All other copies including retail use GFWL exclusively.

I am annoyed, I bought a dx11 card because I wanted to be up to date on my gaming rig, but I should have just stuck with my gtx285 for a while longer seeing how most games are still dx9 and dx 11 seems to not do much or run like crap. I have learned my lesson.

Damn. It's annoying having to put the DVD in everytime to play it. Anyway, it's worth it.[QUOTE="Cwagmire21"][QUOTE="hrt_rulz01"]Quick question guys... The last game I had to put in the disc drive was Resident Evil 4 by Ubisoft. :Panother unoptimized console port with shoehorned in DX11 and Tessalation, where have i seen this before? "Cough" Metro 2033 and Crysis 2
Turn off dx11 and there is no problems, still looks fantastic, I wouldnt call it a technical mess by any means. The game is a (technical) mess, no wonder there was zero info before the release. I should have gotten Serious Sam 3 instead.
Masculus
Yeah it's pretty lame they'll release this game in this state. I'm going to wait until they fix the optimization issues with DX10/11.
