My lower HDD score makes me feel inadequate :(

Prepare to weep at the scores of my ultraportable! (im too lazy to start up my desktop tonight)
It really is horrible :p

Weird, we have the same graphics card but yours is scoring higher than mine.

i do have a slight overclock on my card though that might make the difference. mines at 650/1470/1200. i thought it was so minimal it wouldnt make a difference lol
I thought maybe going up from 1440x900 to 1920x1080 might affect the graphics scores. I guess not. The current WEI is still identical to the previous one.
It's the PC in my sig. No overclocks although the Sapphire 5770 may have a factory overclock. I unlocked the 4th core of the Phenom II X3 720BE a year ago and it's been doing well so far.
I think it just runs one universal test and doesn't take into account what resolution you're using.I thought maybe going up from 1440x900 to 1920x1080 might affect the graphics scores. I guess not. The current WEI is still identical to the previous one.

Well mine's at 648, 1440, 1152 so i doubt that would be a huge difference. Ah well, WEI has never been much good accuracy wise. Some needed clarifications:
Mechanical drives score a max of 5.9
It doesn't matter if you change you resolution or overclock the video card, as the WEI only checks what card you have and posts the according score.
i dont know why a 5970 scores lower than any nvidia card in the 5 series even though it's better than just about all of them. also i dont know how it's possible to score higher than a 7 in hard drive. I'm pretty sure i bought the fastest SSD OCZ offers..
WEI shouldn't be taken seriously :Pi dont know why a 5970 scores lower than any nvidia card in the 5 series even though it's better than just about all of them. also i dont know how it's possible to score higher than a 7 in hard drive. I'm pretty sure i bought the fastest SSD OCZ offers..

The Crucial SSDs are SATA III complient. They are scoring 7.9 if connected to a SATA III port.i dont know why a 5970 scores lower than any nvidia card in the 5 series even though it's better than just about all of them. also i dont know how it's possible to score higher than a 7 in hard drive. Even those 10,000Rpm 6Gbps HDDs? (I know they can't actually do 6Gbps, but they don't do any better than 5.9?)
So basically, unless you have an SSD you're stuck at 5.9?saruman354
Looks like it. However, thats not an excuse to go rush out and get an SSD... WEI score means essentially nothing.

Yea buying a SSD for WEI is like buying a GTX 580 because you can't stand having your score anything less than 7.9.

I think WD RE4 drives may be able to best it in RAID0, they show significantly better performance than all other 7200rpm drives also you could cheat by short formating.7.7 - Processor 7.8 - Ram 7.1 - Graphics 7.1 - Graphics 5.9 - HDD :) 4gb of ram is faster than 16gbSPBoss
Y u no post main rig? Lol.
