There is a q9400, just came out recently it's replacing the q9450 and q9300, which are both being phased out. My E8400 had stuffed up temp sensors which bothered me when overclocking:P Was going to wait for the core i7 to come out then upgrade, but decided to upgrade now and hang on to my rig for a while instead.

Sold my E8400 on ebay for $150 so the q9400 didn't cost much anyway.

Looks good. I would get a Corsair 550VX, you wont need a 850w since your not doing sli. I would also stick with 4gb DDR2 not DDR3.

What yah think??? Should finally be able to play Clear Skies at good FPS. I bought it today and its a pretty hardware hungry game. From what I have played its awesome though. And thats my ramble.

Yeah I cant wait especially since I just got clear skies and from what I have played so far its really good. I think its one of those games you either hate it or love it. Im probably going to first do the fan speed fix and then overclock it to get the most out of it and then I will probably finally OC my CPU as well.
