Steam EA Week ~!

omg Hot Pursuit is a freaking joke! The presentation is awful, it takes five minutes just to get in your car and start racing because of videos. There is no start (the race starts with your car in motion) and I didnt even see an option to shift. Whatever "money" I get is void because I win like 3 cars each race :P

I can handle an arcade racing game but, c'mon EA!

Hopefully Shift is better.

My friend blew 65 bucks on Dragon Age Ultimate Edition and Dragon Age 2! I'm tempted to get NFS Shift, $6.80, that's the cost of a Big Mac meal right there! I'm pretty sure Crysis might be on sale, it's a popular EA title anyways. Crysis 2 might have a lower chance of being on sale, since its new.spiderman120988

one can hope. I think EA is slowly catching on to the fact that a brief sale on a relatively new game who's sales have declined sharply will cause a spike in sales. I mean Dead Space 2 was 39.99 a month after release, iirc.

I've seen Crysis on sale more than a few times. My bet is that youll get the Maximum Edition (Crysis and Warhead) for 20-30 bucks or so.

I'm hoping to get Bad Company 2 this time around. I always end up missing it.

Btw, is Undercover that bad? I heard it was horrible... but for $2.50..man....haha I also want Hot Pursuit but $15 is a bit much for me considering I already have my hands full with another racing game, Shift 2. My friend at work says it's incredibly fun though. Hmmmm!

If the game is bad i suggest you not to buy even if its really cheap, i never liked buying bad/very medicore games only because they cheap. (or only to make my collection bigger).

I always laugh about people who say "i have 100 steam games" and when you look at the games, 75% of them like really bad, unless he really likes them all but i doubt it.

What is the big difference between Shift and Shift 2? I purchased Shift last night (c'mon...$6?) but haven't played it yet...it's not fun at all?

How's the force feedback in the game? I have a Logitech MOMO wheel and was hoping it was at least decent...I did a lot of digging and read conflicting reports. Some said it was really poor, others said after tweaking it was decent, and I wasn't sure what was posted before any patches and if any patches had made it better.

Thanks for helping me decide on this. I might pick up Hot Pursuit once it drops to under $10 but it seems like a good one to pass on (especially considering I have barely touched Dirt 2 at all).

i bought the whole set, i was waiting for this one.

SimCity 4 is worth it.

The Sims 3... probably not.

Ugh. I really do want the Sims 3 to have on Steam, but it pisses me off that it's from 2009 and far newer games have gone on sale for cheaper. I'll give it a few years, then hopefully I can scoop up the entire series for a way cheaper price.

Would be nice if i could get these expansions to work with my non-steam copy of Sims 3.

EDIT:Actually is there a way i could do that?

I'm going to pass today. I need something better than sims 3 and the ancient, albeit amazing, simcity 4, but I got hot pursuit and undercover. Loving them both for the prices I paid.

BC 2's campaign is the worst excuse for a singleplayer experience for an FPS., only the first level is great, because of the sound and all the action, the rest is very bad.DanielDust
