Heh, their website servers are completely overloaded atm. I can't even access the forums. Seems like a lot of people are pissed. Personally I didn't preorder until today because I was pissed about them including HL2 and Ep1 for free so as long as it is enabled tonight (thus not making Valve liars in my book) I will be happy.

Though I am getting over excited, I already created my new Steam community thing and updated everything... now I'm bored.

This is getting a lil silly...I hate how they do this..at least give us a time. I can't even look at the forums...which is the most frustrating part...oh wow...steam just watned to update..hope its something TF2 related...community thing sucks..i can't join a single chat room..

i love steam and valve, but tonight they aren't ranking very high in my book...they should have released 12 am or a lil later, but now everyone is going to be stacking on late at night..if they did it at midnight then it could have spread out some..over the day..

done updating steam...still says unreleased...im just tired of this...

I dont know if i waited any less by living in the west coast but they better release them today. I was expecting it to be released at 12AM. Then I was excited to get home from work to play the damn thing but still... waiting for the damn thing to unlock. They said 17th, so my guess is 11:59pm PST tonight? Bastards...

Yeah the most annoying part is the Steam forums are down. That indicates one of two things to me. 1) So many people are pissed and trying to log on to b**** that they crashed, or 2) Valve screwed the pooch with releasing it today and brought the forums down so we can't b****.

I am placing a 50:50 on this atm, but the later it gets the more I'm going to lean towards option number two.

What if they say something like someone has hacked into their computer and stole their codes, postponing the release date and the beta. It seemed to work for them last time.

I dont have much of a problem accessing the Steam forums, but it's the same stuff there as here, just more of it. No official announcement or anything. I think this was a really stupid move by Valve. Why say Monday release if most of their fans are going to be asleep before the beta actually releases? It's just mean. If they said Tuesday and released it a few hours before Tuesday everyone would've been happy instead of annoyed...MyopicCanadian

We're in the same boat mate, both from the Uk, both been lied to...its officially Tuesday the 18th of September and no TF2 BETA as of yet!!!

They are always a really fun way to pass time... Wait untill the stupid pictures start to appear. Infact, i may get the ball rolling with some classic raptor jesus.

ROFL yeah I did that for about an hour as well. Got bored with it though, if this goes on much longer I might have to go watch FGuy on TBS. They are running two hours of the new episodes tonight.

But yeah I have to agree, I'm finding this oddly entertaining! But I guess it's not hard to see why. I'm talking to a bunch of other people that are in the exact same predicament as me and who share common interests (namely games :D).
