Team Fortress 2 Beta

Soooooo 1) Who is going to create the GS TF2 Server (should probably only have 1 person do it) and

2) What are we gonna call it? something simple like "Gamespot TF2 Server", or something ridiculous like "Gamespot's House of BBQ Pain" ?

Ok i just figured out the Orange Box while making a cup of tea, here is my theory of why TF2 BETA is being delayed (which it is really...18th over in Scotland atm!)

- Valve gives you HL2 & Ep1 for free to make the Orange Box sound like a good deal (which it is) and to also provide newcomers to the HL series with these two games to understand Ep2.

- They also give you Peggle Extreme for free, the reason? because they knew all the preloaders for the TF2 BETA would be impatient and they also secretly decided to delay its release forcing us to play this addictive game. So we end up spending another £5/$10 towards a game through STEAM.

Its all a big conspiracy to get everyone playing Peggle Delux/Extreme!!!

Aww man you gotta pay for this crap? I've never hosted a FPS Multiplayer game before so I had no idea there was gonna have ot be money involved. How much does it cost? Is there a link somewhere on the interweb on how to set on up and stuff? I'm just curious mostly.

Can't someone just host the game for like a solid 1hr or 2 off their own comp? Hell we could password it that way.

My brother owns a server i think. As soon as he's up in the morning i will ask him if i can host and then we will post on a TF2 union. On that note, does anyone fancy starting the TF2 union now?

You know i've played peggle extreme so much since i got it that i have the top scores on 6 levels, my name is Adja so if you've played quick play and checked the top scores you'll see me! :D

I guess we can thank valve/steam for one thing and thats helping us increase our post count on Gamespot aswell as get through the early stages of creating an official Gamespot TF2 server/community :P

You know, the first class that i'm going to play is most definately the Pyro. The poor guy got little to no coverage in all the press they have been giving to TF2, and I'm curious to see just how much more powerful they have made him. After that, you all better watch out for my sentry guns, because I'm an Engineer God (Wramblin Wreck ... if you will)

Spy first, then maybe demoman. I loved playing the spy, nothing as satisfying as stabbing a sniper in the back and watching him pitch over the edge of a 4 story building.
