When your squad says, "We'll cover this place here, you go into the bunker and kill everyone"FragMonkey09
I agree with that, why cant they atleast help...
For MMO = You WONT have to grind in this game.
FPS = Games saying they come with lots of weapons or options, when in fact they come with 9 and one or 2 is some stupid pair of Binos or a knife. And are typicly the lamest boring guns ever.
You're loaded down with weapons of all kind and nothing you've got is capable of blasting through a locked door. There also seems to be a lot of crates laying around in just about every video game world. Every secret government experiment goes horribly wrong, which turns the entire research staff into some kind of zombie. In the beginning of the game there's a ton of sweet stuff to buy, except you never have enough money. Later in the same game you have more money than Trump buteverything you've looted from the dead is way better than anything you can buy.Just a few off the top of my head ...fenriz275
Now, I understand people have a tremendous emotional connection with WWII, and that it makes a good backdrop because Nazi's as the enemy (even though you kill German soldiers most of the time, and not Nazis) gives the player the "moral high-ground", but I gotta say I'm sick ofWWII as a background. Why can't they come out with some sweet war games based off of different wars? How about the Civil War, for example? How about WWI? How about anything before 1940? Please? I'd love a game based off of the American Revolution or something.

While I'm a big fan of WWII games, I agree with this. It seems there's a new WWII game every month, and it's the rare one that is innovative enough to stand out. I wouldn't mind seeing some more Vietnam era games, and Korean War as well. Hell, we haven't had a good Korean War flight sim since MiG Alley.
Exploding barrels. Massive empty crates, or massive crates with just two small things inside them. cd_rom
Thats Half Life. Great game still though.
why are you complaining about lack of clothing on women?
imo their should be a ww2 shooter with half naked allied women fighting half naked axis forces
with half naked guns...in the rain..

You're a genius. (Sarcasm)
Siege weapon in RTS game, they always have low range except in some few gamest3h_MarK
Agreed. One of the things I like about WiC and CoH is that the artillery has a long range. However, in less realistic games it doesn't seem right somehow to have incredibly long-ranged units. For instance, I think the Juggernaut is good because it can outrange Obelisks, but still effectivly back up my Mammoths.
I don't remember the game but in one beat'em up I had to protect something and everyone thing simply ran past and ignore me to destroy it. Also in WoW I play a warrior, an master of armed combat, and I keep getting dodged, blocked, and parried by animals! Being defensive sucks but someone has to do it.
It's irritating that you are always minding your own business and then something horrible/strange/gory/magical happens and you discover you are an anctient warrior/reincarnation of someone powerful/god/psychic... (or something they call THE ONE) and you have to save your kingdom/city/town/village/world/spaceship from aliens/bad guys with big guns/bad guys with small guns/hot chicks/zombies/aliens/fantasy creatures. All you have are 9 fantastic weapons/9 fantastic mental abilities/9 fantastic foes with different attacks/9 fantastic swords/9 fantastic crystals.
If that wasn't enough, if you don't manage to do all that right, you end up playing the whole game to get a bad ending!!!

ROFLAMAO. Thats so true.
first you find a mele weapon
then a pistol
then a shoutgun
then smg
then assoult rifle
then sniper
and an rpg
always in this order and always these weapons

Yea i was going to post this but i guess ill put it in story form. First you get a knife then you go kill your first enemy who always happens to have only a pistol. You pick it up and never use the knife again except for the occasional underwater battle and you can only use you knife, but you keep dying because the knife sucks balls. Then you make it past that mess and you get an smg/shotgun and the game suddenly becomes to easy. And then it goes a few more 100 miles farther past easy when you get your trusty assault rifle which you will never stop using because theres no point in switching, since the new weapons such as the sniper and rpgtake to long to reload or dont have enough ammo to really justify the use of them. And the weapons before the assault rifle are pitifully weak but the shot gun always seems to stay on the same level of the assault rifle. Of course you get the super weapon which can only be used once but it is super awesome and you wish you could use it more but it can only be fired during the final boss.( ex. chronoscepter - turok, rocket launcher - resident evil 2) But that sums it up basically.
Saving the world. Why can't the world save me for once?
Games sometimes try to be too epic and it just doesn't fit. For once can you just save your town of even country? Why is it always "save the entire universe from ultimate distruction."
Actually, that might be interesting for a game to be having you help someone ELSE save the world. Instead of the hero, you're just one of the nameless people that help the hero. I know people like to be the hero, but this would be an interesting way to play.
