Eg: The dumbed down and simplistic mass effect was borring to me despite the fact it had amazing graphics and sci fi settingdakan45hmm.. didn't you always said that you didn't liked Mass Effect because it was too complex for you with too many dialogues and not many cut scenes ?
Here are list of things I want in TES V: PART 1 or 25 1. Human needs for characters - I want every 'living' characters to need food, water, sleep, etc. - I want to be able to faint if I hadn't slept for 2 days, freeze in cold weather if under dressed, etc. - I want my characters to be dehydrated and hungry with ability to use rest rooms - Ability to better socialize with non playable characters, preferably by making friends, marriage, companionship, enemies, grudges, etc. 2. Extracurricular activities (Warning, 18+ only): - Arena should have games, I am sure they played games back then. Competitive games as opposed to only fighting - Non playable characters interact with us, calling us for help, for dinner, lunch, breakfast or simply a hiking - If my character is a hot female, I want to be able to work as an exotic dancer or even a prostitute to make some money - If I am a sexy female with low morals I want to be able to perform sexual favors to people in order to get ahead in the world - If I am a male I want to be able to get married and go on a honey moon - As previously mentioned, marriage, kids, family, etc. - Ability to buy houses or build houses. Ability to form an army to overthrow a Leader - Ability to steal someone's hot wife or daughter against the will of husband/father - Ability to seduce people, marrying a old rich guy for money and inheriting his wealth - Scandals and conflicts that rock the society, King caught with maid, Queen caught servicing bodyguard, etc. - Bribing anyone and anyone who could be bribed. Ethics as a skill or characteristic 3. Rewards - I want millions of ways to gain rewards in the game - I should be able to form a group and go out hunting for rare animals - I should be able to WORK, be hired as a blacksmith, a bodyguard, an exotic dancer, etc, and have a schedule to keep - I should be able to sack places, attack a house, burn it to the ground leaving nothing 4. Living world - I should be able to build CASTLES and HOUSES and SHIPS - I should be able to destroy castle walls - I should be able to go inside every single building and every single room - I should be able to move things around the house, chairs, tables, cabinets, etc. - I should be able to hire people to work for me - Ability to join the government and write/change laws - Black horse carrier widespread and informative ( The internet of Oblivion ) 5. Transportation - I end up running all the time if I don't have a horse, HOW REALISTIC IS THAT? Not at all realistic, so quit with running - Have Wagons pulled by Ox or Horses at key locations to use as transports where we would be able to travel inside the Wagons for a fee - Brothels on key locations to satisfy one's desire on a long trip 6. Less Randomness/Repetition - I don't want 1 guy saying the same line again and again, that's not realistic - No more linear schedule for people, have them do variable things, sometimes they sleep late, eat late - People besides me commit crimes - No more getting caught when no one sees me, I should be able to service a guy for money in back of someone's home without being arrested ( Assuming public sexuality is illegal ) 7. Leveling - Please remove that Oblivion leveling - Variable leveling with ceiling and floor for all things PART 2 Coming Soon!TygerXG2
I agree with most of this, although some of it seems too hardcore, or at least too realistic, to appeal to the masses.
I'm just hoping this game ends up having better stability than most of Bethesdas work. I love their games in concept but in practice they end up being the only games that don't run stable on my system.
Yep, Oblivion and Fallout 3 both crash all the time for me, not to mention all the weird bugs.I'm just hoping this game ends up having better stability than most of Bethesdas work. I love their games in concept but in practice they end up being the only games that don't run stable on my system.

The only thing they should take from oblivion is combat, and even then they could make it a bit more varied like some mods do. Other than that i would like to see a world that is more alive, lived in and culturally more unique..i don't want a copy and paste job that's as plain as a spam sandwich. Better sidequests for guilds, better story, more voice actors..and decent ones, seriously if you are going to have such crappy voice actors that are used more times than i have had hot dinners just leave voice acting out the game all together. Maybe the money saved could be invested in well written and intruiging dialogue with npc's. I'd also like them to get rid of fast travel and markers, many people will be unhappy about that so best to have an option to enable/disable it. Oh and i'd like the main characters actions to influence the world and people in it a tad more....Probably more things but that will do.
Maybe this time they could have bigish armies. because in oblivion it was kinda funny how all the set piece battles were like a few guys.
I want lots more loot this time! Just so my loot house will be even better lol
Yeah man, epic Daedric battle, just you, 3 other guys and about 8 Daedra. That's hardcore.Maybe this time they could have bigish armies. because in oblivion it was kinda funny how all the set piece battles were like a few guys.

My brother's friend was able to get (i guess it would be called) a beta disc version of the elder scrolls 5 through The Make A Wish program. He has a terminal illness, and has alwasys been a huge Elder Scrolls fan. Unfortunately the doctors say he doesnt have much longer. Bethesda was really nice and sent him this disc. Although i havn't played it, i have watched for a few hours, and i will say - Everyone here will be impressed. Bathesda has asked not to give out details, so im just keeping my part of the bargain. The world that it takes place in has sooo much character and detail. There is a snowy part of the map, and it looks so relaxing and is so mysterious. Its amazing and i can't wait to get the finished copy when it comes out.dwade987blue1What kind of an idiot lies about that? :O

What, complex? L:shock: No, i said i did not like it because it was terribly borring with too many dialogues and nothing else. The rest is pretty shallow and linear. The amount of content and features and diffirent situations is almost insiginificant, so all we got left is graphics and endless deathborring dialogues but the actual gameplay is simple to a point that its not dumbed down, its simpliefied like the developers did not bother with anything apart from graphics and dialogues, the rest are simplified so much like there is no structure.

Most of this is kinda of weird. Sounds like you should write your own game, bro.
This game better be PC exclusive. ...Remmib
Morrowind and Oblivion were both on consoles. So, expect another ES game to be no different.
