here we go.. two worlds II vs the witcher II
they both have the same looking main character, who have the same voice. i swear to got they copied each other. haha but besides that.
I feel two worlds II has the better graphics on the highest res and settings. and it runs at a constant 60 fps with vsync on. Its completely open world. Like if all of oblvion was just one of many islands you can sail or teleport to. In two worlds II you can literally get a horse mount, buy a sailboat. and literally sail in real time to diff oblivion lands lol. literally explore deserted islands and or find dungeons for treasure etc.....
the witcher 2. is all cinematics. granted the cinmeatics look HD.... and it has more textures and gameplay then the bioware games (DA2 and ME2) but the actualy gameplay is very blurry and choppy and full of micro stutters on any settings. utter crap and completely obvious its dx 9, and doesn't like my new o/s and hardware. same issues with fallout 3...... Its like they superimposed a crap load of AA to make it seem like a new engine in HD. but its not even all the textures. and the bloom looks cheap. cartoon like models...etc...and very sluggish. I don't know what all the hype was about.
for someone who has a newer computer. a win 7 64, amd phenom II x4 850e and 6 gb ddr3 and 1gb HD ati 5870, I'd rather go with two worlds II. I just like being able to jump, crouch and walk anywhere I want. with super smooth, mind blowing like the first unreal years ago, new age graphics. thats all i care about thats why i buy a new pc. I'm an avid fps gamer first.... and strictly a pc gaming background.
the witcher 2 might have the better storyline, with tons more cinematic scenes, and cool magical/rogue fight mechanics. but i'm not interested cinematic scenes or the storyline.... if there is only a little gameplay that has old cartoon like models and runs like horrible crap....
my vote is for two worlds II. for better looking graphics, smoother hardware performance, and for being MORE OPEN WORLD then oblivion. don't believe the lies they sell ya.
