Lead and Gold for $7.50 this morning. Its aaaaaaaallright...it'll satisfy my Westarn shoot-out cravings until RDR hits PC.
anyone else notice that the witcher went up in price from yesterday even though it wasn't a one day sale? I saw it at around $6 late last night then went to buy it today and it was $13...

Yes, I bought it on Day 1.
24 Jun 2010 $6.79 Charge The Witcher: Enhanced EditionIs Hearts of Iron any good? I've never played any of them but I like the WW2 settings and strategy games so it seems like a good idea. I'm on the fence about L4D2 but wasn't a huge fan of the first game.LevrarTry the demo first, as it's not really a game that can be loved by everyone. I picked up the Introversion Complete pack (mostly for DEFCON,) and Audiosurf. Will probably pick up Cyrostatis and the new Hearts of Iron expansion.
What I got, and most likely won't get more.
Silent Hunter III
Tropico Reloaded
Majesty Gold Edition
I've always been a bit interested in Silent Hunter, but I'm most interested in seeing if the online co-op still works so I can play with my brother.
Tropico is just plain fun. Was looking for a game similar to the likes of say Roller Coaster Tycoon, and stumbled across that. I'm having a bit of trouble being a good leader though :P My Tropicans keep voting me out of office :( Fun nonetheless. I'm sure I'll figure out why I'm a bad leader someday soon.
Majesty I got for a similar reason to Tropico. I just wanted a simple strategy game, and Majesty looks simple, and fun.
May pick up Cryostasis. I mean it's 3 bucks...
Suffca
Get it! I just bought it, the atmosphere is insane, it's creeping me out more than Bioshock did.
[QUOTE="saruman354"]Or you could get the Gothic pack for 10 USD :D[QUOTE="amekhov"]
Wow just saw a gameplay video of Gothic 3... I think I'll be getting that instead of 2, looks epic.

So far I have bought the Gothic Pack, Tropico 3 and Cryostasis all for $23. I probably won't be getting anything else unless STALKER pops up in one of the daily sales. I have enough games to last me a full year. I recently bought Red Dead Redemption, Mario Galaxy 2, and Tiger Woods 11 in addition to these. Also, I got back in to LotRO since it's going FTP soon. Yeah, my gaming calendar is swamped right now.
The STALKER games are on sale, man. Clear Sky and CoP are, but I haven't played the first one. I need to get it.i topped off th alien shooter/zombia shooter pack now that i own all but the not on steam.. vengance im a happy man.. wish i knew where to get vengance its certainly worth the time.
So far I've gotten Jade Empire and that Max Payne bundle. Surprised more people didn't grab that Max Payne bundle, it was a great deal imo.
There's quite a few games I hope go on a daily deal, including the Hitman collection(I own Blood Money, but damn that is a good game, I wouldn't mind buying a second copy), Bully, Republic Commando, and any others I can't think.
Today was a good deal, I own most of those games though.
-The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
-Gmod 10
-Zeno Clash
-THQ pack
All for $100 New Zealand Dollars and comparing that most of the games' sold at my local game stores cost that each, I think that 25 games or so for the price of a new one is pretty good.
After upgrading my computer I'm on a tight budget for games this week, $20 max. So the Steam deals is a welcome surprise, but a curse. There are soooo many games I want! Anyway, I picked up Civilization IV Comlpete for $10 and The Void for $5. So that's leaves me a measly $5 left. Although, I did get a free download of Cryostasis from my video card purchase, not through Steam of course.
Well, the sale will end tomorrow.
That's what I bought so far:
Metro 2033
Fallout 3 GOTY *
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Awakening
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY
The Witcher Enhanced Edition *
Kane & Lynch Dead Men
Morrowind GOTY *
Oblivion GOTY *
Half-Life *
Half-Life Blue Shift
Half-Life Opposing Force
Gothic bundle (with 2 Gold Edition and Gothic 3) *
Prey
Civilization IV
Clive Barker's Jericho
Thief: Deadly Shadows *I'm on vacations now (the whole July for myself, hoo-ray) and I'm having a blast.
I was over-stressed, this is a treat I allowed myself to countermeasure it.
The ones with an asterisk was the ones I already had (boxed versions), and I couldn't resist the discounts. I don't know why, but I have a special feeling for my Steam collection, and has been a while now since I stopped buying from another source -- unless it isn't available there on Steam...
I think I'm a Steamcoholic...
