GTX 590 because of physx, CUDA, and workstation compatibility, possibility of using it as a dedicated physx card when 600 series comes out and its performance will increase a lot in the next driver releases.

Also, since it's dual GPU I can disable one of the GPUs or dedicate one of the GPUs for rendering or Physx.

460 because it came with a program that I sold for 50 dollars, and a 20 mail in rebate, so I paid 90 dollars for it in the end. I then overclocked it to 560 ti performance. Best 90 dollar graphics card, ever. People are saying the 6950 is the best price/performance, I would like to challenge that.

XFX 6870, Cost £127, nothing could touch in that sort of range really,

I was looking for a 6950, but most of them were over £220, and for a card that consumes 50 watts more power, cost £100 more, but delivers about 19% more performance, I decided that the 6870 was a better bang for buck choice

This is a bit of a screw up for me, got a 460 gti with the intention of going SLI around this time, recently i realised that my mobo only supports xfire...DOH!

so i'm either going to go 580 when 6xx series comes out or crossfire 2 6850's, not decided yet.

GTX 580, I always get the most powerful single card I can buy every 2 years so it lasts me the whole time usually.

Do some research. Many crossfire boards can still SLI and many SLI boards can crossfire. Just have to do a little work.

The GTX 460 1GB is a fantastic card, and can certainly be considered for price/performance king. However, you're not quite matching a stock GTX 560 Ti with the overclock in your sig. I used to have an EVGA GTX 460 OC'd to 911mhz core and a healthy RAM OC, and it was still slightly slower than a stock 560 Ti. Obviously the Gigabyte SOC 560 Ti that I'm running now is even faster, but even at the stock 822mhz core it's a tad faster than my GTX 460 was.

I got a MSI Hawk GTX 460 1gb model I chose it cause of the specs and the price on Newegg was just right and well within my $200 budget for a graphics card upgrade. So now all I have to do is save up for new motherboard cpu and ram and then I'll be up to date. =D

Sapphire HD 4850 because it topped the price/performance charts while being very affordable (I got it for about $135 in 2009) while being able to play everything on high / near-max. I was and am not a graphics addict that I'd want every detail maxed out, so the 4850 does the job.
