Neverwinter which I've been making time, and excuses to play is an interesting game from Cryptic for D&D. If you know Dungeons and Dragons or is someone who enjoys the lore, history, and combat then this is for you. I would suggest this game for even people who didn't like MMO games previously. It pushes the popularity of the more action MMO's these days. It works off the D&D 4th Edition rules and has many features that brings back those pen and paper version days. It also has replay ability in custom dungeons that players themselves create. There is also a more Diablo kind of experience in Path of Exile just made better. You can find all these games and more on my channel the link is below check it out if interested. If you also like my videos don't be afraid to like, comment, and subscribe and tell your friends. I was just glad to help here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/user/survivingfrank survivingfrank

if you're american try Fallen Earth. I'm european and having a 1-2s delay when looting stuff made me not want to play, but other than it's pretty good. story is not bad. enviroment is nice ( you can just go out and kill/scavenge stuff ) if you just want to do something mindless and not follow quests.

I fired up TERA this weekend for the first time and I'm enjoying the setup. The combat is a nice change of pace.

Yea, I have been playing tera on and off, has a big community now that it is FTP, end game raids are coming but none yet, everyone just runs nexus once a day and runs Hard mode instances over and over. I am taking my time getting to max level, there really is no point in rushing, with WOW the game really didnt start till max level. I am trying out the different classes, the combat really is great they just need to add more stuff to do, the questing is also 99% kill X and Y over and over, but I guess that all mmos.

I'm trying to figure out what the end game content is. The game seems like it has a lot of fun potential.

^Yeah, healing over a portrait is important for gameplay, imo. That's what I used a lot. Man, I missed the days on my Paladin in World of Warcraft. I was always #1 or 2 on the healing charts. I loved playing Paladin. Damn, I wish I never gave away my account. :-(Elann2008

Yea be glade you don't play WoW now as a paladin. They've been pretty bad at dmg in MoP (except they got a minor dmg buff recently). For awhile they were pretty beastly in heals but are now avg.

Haven't played WoW since the last week of March and I have no desire to play/pick up WoW again, it's sad cause I've had that paladin since May 2005.

I only have a mid lvl 20 zerker in Tera but from what I know end game is nexus, pvp (think you can only queue up at lvl 60) and raids/hard mode dungeons. If you're gonna play Tera I suggest playing on a pve server, on a pvp server you can get ganked right when you hit lvl 11 (which only takes like an hour or two).

Bummer. So they're not "great" at healing or damage? Not even as a Retribution Paladin? That sucks.

God forbid they be bad at something :P ..... it should of always been good tanking, good healing, poor damage.

Before the little buff they got Rets were 19th out of the 26 damage dealing specs (this was in BiS for patch 5.2 when it came out btw), holy was 2nd in healing (priests were ridiculous for awhile) and I rarely saw any prot paladins.

I would suggest rolling a lancer, you get instant Q's almost for dungeons, and are also needed for end game, just like any mmo tanks and healers are in short supply because most people are lazy and dps is the easiest class to play. I am still on the fence about it, the game is fun but there dosent seem to be much to do at end game, it is in the works but asia gets all the content first and no raids for them yet either, so I am thinking it is 6 months out or so. Well I guess some people consider nexus a raid, but real raids are in the works.

Hahaha yea. That's how I always saw Paladins too. Weird how things have changed. Did these updates pissed off a lot of long-time Paladin players?

Hmmm interesting. I know you said you are not playing WoW any more. Will you ever go back? If not, what are you playing now or plan to play in the future as far as MMOs go?

They are the best tanks in 10m and 25m, they are the only tank that have to the ability to single tank some of the fights in 5.2, making them very easy. They provide too much utility compared to other tanks.

As for Holy, its still very strong in 10m/25m. They have a good aresenal of heals, and provide a lot of utility, along with their healing.

And for Ret, Can't comment on them since I havent seen any outside of PvP, I imagine they are still useful, the paladin class provides a lot of utlity.

Rift is going F2P.

I've been playing Neverwinter online, it's actually quite good.

You should check out Tera. It recently became free 2 play and in my opinion it is AWESOME! It dosnt slam you down with those "buy this" and "buy that'' crap. The game is really fun!

Everquest 2 if your looking for solid pve.. To this day it has one of the deepest pve side of things in lore, quests and other such things then any other mmo out there I have seen.. To boot they recently unlocked every race (except for Free Blood) and every class (except for Beast Lord) for free a long with lifting other restrictions as well.

I wouldn't say Star Trek Online is "worth playing", but I have played nigh on 250 hours of it, because I'm delusional and I like Star Trek. :P

It's not a good game, but I enjoy it nonetheless.
