What's the earliest PC games you remember playing?

I played a lot of adventure games as a little kiddo.

Quest for Glory 3 to 6 (I *loved* these games), Kings Quest games,  Space Quest games, Carmen Santiago, Tales of Monkey Island, Myst, Legends of Kyrandia...but PROBABLY THE EARLIEST is this game which I recently found online and have been playing...

MANIAC MANSION! I still remember being a kid and getting freaked out when Edna or one of the others caught me in the mansion.

The first game i played on pc was in october 2003. it was delta force black hawk down. i also remember other games like call of duty, doom 3, joint operations typhoon rising and rome total war.

The first computer games I remember playing were on a Commadore 64 but I couldn't tell you the name.  In elementary school we used to play a game called Cross Country Canada (loved that game) and that wasn't on Windows either so not sure if that's a PC.  The first real PC game I remember would be Wolfenstein 3d back in the early 90's.  The first PC games I played A LOT of were Warcraft II and Doom II.

I can't remember any titles at this point, but it would have been something on an Apple II. The first game I remember playing on a DOS system was probably Zork, or some other text based adventure...

Ah...the memories...

I remember Sierra Gold Rush, Sublogic's Jet!, and Bruce Artwick's (aka Sublogic) Flight Simulator (pre-MS).

My very 1st PC game was the Xfiles the Game and even bought it be for i got the PC lol.

commander keen and wolfenstein 3d. i remember sitting on my father's lap when he was playing wolf 3d and he would move while i pressed ctrl to shoot them damned dogs. top notch coop action right there.

A Bug's Life at a school computer for some reason. Also i remember this game called Pokeman or something, completely unrelated to Pokemon.TheBlackKnight3

It was Prince of Persia, sprites edition.

Yup that it. I can remember i bought it about a month be for i got my very first PC and boght the game on release day and i was hugging the box every day until i played it. lol

They dont make any interactive movie games any more because it cost too much and cheaper to make 3d animation these but back then it was the other way round. But them type of games back then was my fav as well. If i want to no when i first got my very first PC i just look at the release date for this game. :P

Lemmings, still love that game too.

Karateka was my first game.  It's still a great game even today.

SimCopter, SimAnt, Warcraft :Orcs and Humans, the first Sim City, Sim Theme Park, Theme Hospital. Boy, those were awesome back in the days.

Back when it was DOS only I had games like pong and snake :P Awesome fun!

I played games like Adventure Quest, Biff and Rocky Horror Picture Show (all I can remember) on the classic green screen. On cassette! Kids these days don't know what they missed. :)
