I do. It would be so nice to meet the female equivelent of my personality. Only more talkative...im kinda shy. And she would have to weigh 220 pounds less than me as well lol.

That would be so awesome to go to some LAN party or E3 and meet some cute girl who liked gaming, especially PC gaming.

Lol, ever seen that Seinfeld episode when Jerry meets a female equivalent of himself? I don't think a girlfriend/wife that likes all the things you like is always such a good thing. Opposites attract each other and all that. I know I want some other impulses from my partner than "This game is teh awesomeness!" I get enough of that on this forum... :)

there was a similar thread a while ago, and someone wrote that something like 3% of those in gamespot are women. so they're there, but not all that many. i think you have to be a pretty hardcore gamer (or just plain bored) to participate in game forums, and most girls aren't that hardcore. most play the sims 2 and build pretty houses. :)

They play different games. Most girls don't like playing war games and shooting games. Some do - I know from experience - but not many. But that's what we - most of us - spend most of our time playing.

I love meeting girl gamers, though. I know a few, in real life. They are, unsurprisingly, very unattractive - it's interesting that male PC gamers run a gamut from very ugly to very attractive, but with women it seems almost exclusively to be the less attractive who get into PC gaming. I can imagine why. At least, I've never met a good looking girl PC gamer. Besides the half naked ones used to advertise games. Not that they count. I know some socialite hotties at work who play Wii stuff. Those console gaming guys get all the fun. Except when they game. Then they use a pad. Pads suck.

Anyway, if you wanna meet girl gamers, I guess you should play the games they play. I bet Spore and the online Sims game, if that's still coming, will have a lot of girls in the community.

As for girls on the forums - I think there are some, it's just pretty hard to tell. It's not like they all talk like this: ima girl lol ;) can sum hot young boyz help me lol i am so stuck on sum game nad i need help lol
