why dont japanese developers consider PC

seriously they are killing me. i was checking this game that called Bayonetta, it looks amazing.

i want a change from all the western PC games, this is frustrating. they just love making games for consoles.

Generally I think it's because the PC is viewed as a more adult entertainment platform where as the console is viewed as more childish. This is why generally you see their more adult oriented games (read H-Games and Dating Sims) on the PC while the consoles get games with more of a western play style (Action, RPG, the more common genres.)MadCat46

I wasn't really a fan of the JRPG play style but the art was just amazing, i wish they did make more quality games for PC, even if it was just for the amazing artwork.

Final Fantasy 14 (which is the online one) looks like it could be amazing! Speaking from visuals only XD

FF13 isn't coming to PC. Well, at least that is what SE said after a supposed misunderstanding. The could always bring it in the future though, especially since they say with the tools they are using to develop it, its already running on PC...(maybe the case for all console games though, don't really know about the usual tools used to create console games)

It´s worth a try.

Metal Gear solid franchise is Japanese. Konami anyone?

They need to bring the whole series to PC imo, not just Rising.

Well Capcom has taken steps towards PC gaming. RE5, SF4, DMC4, Bionic Commando and Lost Planet all came to PC this gen, and Dead Rising 2 seems to as well. Outside that it's been a bit quiet, but Rising should bring MGS back to PC, FFIV might encourage them to port FF13 over as well.

I think the main problem is that there simply isn't much audience for these games on PC compared to consoles, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. But some slip through the cracks every now and then. For games like Bayonetta I'd look into DMC4, X-Blades, Ninja Blade. Lot fo these are ported later so it's not impossible for Bayonetta to make it to PC too.

Is Darksiders being made by them jips? If yes then they are indeed a-holes because I'd love to play this game on the PC. I'm also pissed about them never releasing any Front Mission games for the PC (the latest shooter thing doesn't count) but releasing their Final Fantasy garbage which most people with at least 3 functioning brain cells don't give a rat's ass about. Don't care about bayonetta, it looks dumb as hell.
