Because it's not currently popular. If you haven't noticed, almost all games mentioned are current popular games.

Mentioning that game may get some "lulz" from people who remember it, but it's not provacative enough and wont start any flame wars.

i think people got your point the first time.

i don't know about everyone else, but i try and buy only good games, based on reviews and user feedback and my gut feeling about the game; it's rare that i buy a bad game. i don't buy those 1000 games for the price of 1 package deals; i don't buy games that get ****ty reviews, unless i'm absolutely sure that i'll like it. the worst game that i've ever bought (and played) is ass creed; i genuinely thought the game was horrible. some of us do try and be honest when replying to these types of threads.

Perhaps that's because people don't buy games they know or expect to be bad? I mean, the point of the thread is the worst game you've played, not the worst game ever made - and I for one am not in the habit of playing games that I know or expect to be bad.

All of the games I listed, for instance, people might say they're not bad or that they certainly don't deserve to be on a worst games list, but no one can make that kind of judgement or condemn my - or anyone else's - choices without knowing every game we've ever played.

Like, if I had only played Half Life and Half Life 2, surely it would be absolutely legitimate - and uncontestable - for me to say that Half Life 2 is the worst game I've ever played?

i'm thinking you're just a chump who gets suckered into buying bad games. cuz, seriously, how difficult is it to avoid buying bad games? i think i've bought 3 games that i would consider 'bad' in all my 20+ years of gaming: graw 1, ass creed, and football mogul 2003. graw i bought because i was hunkering for a good tactical shooter, despite hearing that the pc version isn't that good; ass creed i bought because of jade raymond; and football mogul 2003 i bought because i wanted the football version of what's a pretty decent baseball manager game (baseball mogul). if you don't believe me, fine. who gives a ****, really?

but it's one thing to make your point once; it's something else entirely if you make your point twice, which makes me believe that either (a) you're just looking to flame people or (2) you thought your comment was very clever and are a bit peeved that it got no attention the first time around. whatever the reason, we got your point; if you don't like the answers, then stop reading them.

I think the worst game i ever boughts is:

1- the Mark

2- Infernal

3- crime life

4- Eragon

SunAge is the worst PC game I've ever played.

I was having a hell of a time thinking what the "worst game" I've ever played is, it's probably something I've appropriately forgotten ;) I have no idea, it certainly wouldn't be these games. However, anything is fair-game for criticism, did you read fatshodan's explanations? Do you find those those to be unreasonable, as opinions?

Actually, Condemned wasn't Monolith's finest, but I enjoyed it overall. It's one I've only played once, and it was a while back, but I know I enjoyed it at that time w/o major criticisms. There's no way I can completely back that one up with my experience, however, for BioShock and Gears though, his complaints/issues are definitely spot on!!

Na, I am just more of an actual gamer then you, and my experience with games is obviously far broader and encompases a much larger spectrum. Your comments don't show you have better taste...it just shows you have a limited view.

The 'fat AI" is saying that if he only played 2 games, that is Half Life 1 and 2, he's perfectly entitled to say that Half-Life 2 is the worst game he's ever played because of the games he's played, it's at the bottom of the list in terms of quality - and he hasn't played anything worse than Half-Life 2, because the only other game he's played is, well, better.

Got it? It's just like me saying I've only played Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2, and saying that Call of Duty 2 is absolutely the worst game I have ever played. Same scenario with Homeworld and Homeworld 2.

crysis was a decent game, but it is overhyped as hell. but just in the same GTA everybody likes and i cant stand it.. i kinda want to give crysis another go with this pc i have now..

but i think i will just wait till warhead comes out for a more optimized engine or crysis gets an update to do the same... crysis some people love, hate or whatever, it is still a game, even though i look at it more as a GPU marketing tool.

but hey there has to be a game that everyone says oh i got to upgrade my pc to play it at high or very high settings, and crysis just happens to be it. but i agree graphics are not everything, just in 2008-almost 2009 i dont want to play a game that comes out now, that looks like it came out 5-10 years ago. you can say whatever you want, but people will respond to what you say, just like you respond to what they say.

i just think that the 9.5 stands more for advanced graphics than the actual game since iv seen some stuff in the game done better eg shooting maps story!thenewau25

i agree that most of crysis is overhyped because of the graphics, no doubt a GPU selling tool... but it still doesnt make it a bad game... in my opinion crysis, was a decent game, but nowhere near the best fps that alot of people make it out to be.

I can think of 3 really annoyingly bad games. I'm undecided which is the absolute worst (probably Big Rigs)

1. Big Rigs (Fail incarnate)
2. Superman 64 (rings? seriously?)
3. H.E.D.Z. (was fun for all of 1 minute)

Superman 64.....that belongs in the hole with E.T.

And honestly thenewau25....can u PLEASE take the whole Crysis thing somewhere else....this is a thread made for games that are actually bad.

You absolutely have to be kidding! JK: Dark Forces 2 is one of the best games ever! Mysteries of the Sith was a helluva rough ride but a decent expansion.

Then again, someone may say something about my pick for worst.....The Longest Journey. To me its non-intuitive puzzles and several chapters to really get started made it merely an average game, not terrible, but not special.
