You HATE a popular PC game ! WHY? Comment on it.

Your friend or someone must have told you that a game is great and you go and get it. You didn't find anything much interesting about it.

I hate Grand Theft Auto IV because with an AMD 64-bit 4800+ CPU, 2 gigs of RAM, and a slightly overclocked 8800 GTX, I still can't get an average FPS of over 25 even on Low settings at my default resolution of 1440x900. Lowering the settings and resolution changes nothing.

The game also crashes very frequently: Not only the game itself, but also my entire computer, forcing me to completely shut down and restart everything.

And the worst part about it? I'm not the only one. This is extremely widespread, especially the low FPS, which has impacted every single PC gamer out there who has a copy of the game.

I never played the first far cry but when I played far cry 2 I was a bit disappointed, from what I'd heard about the original far cry I had expected something a bit more special.

Oblivion - dumbed down Morrowind, which was dumbed down Daggerfall

Bioshock - dumbed down System Shock 2

World of Warcraft - World of Grindcraft

Counter Strike - the most repetitive game ever made, headshot, terrorists win, headshot, counter terrorists win, headshot, headshot, headshot

Call of Duty 4 - respawning enemies + nonexistant AI + crappy consolized gameplay = no thanks

Halo - boring and generic

Gears of War - shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover

(insert bad console port here) - self-explanatory

Counterstrike. Just couldn't really ever get into it. Part of that was because I hate games where you have to wait until the next match to respawn, and part of it was because I just plain out suck at CS (or at least I'm nowhere near as good as the hardcore players).gameguy6700

Crysis Warhead, secruom and unoptimized

Bioshock,secruom and crappy game

Gothic III, buggy peice of crap

Medieval 2 Total War Gold, my game doesn't wanna work because of you guessed, securom

Civilization, the game is too slow for my tastes

Starcraft, after CoH I'm never going back

Crysis... It was too long for the limited gameplay and repetitiveas hell. I hate twitch shooters.

Oblivion = played a friend's copy and didn't understand what was so good about it. Character development was blah, even as a wizard I carried heavy armor and a sword. Main quest was also underwhelming. And if a game needs mods to play right, no thank you.

Halo = not a PC game. Fun with friends on an xbox but on the PC it pales with the competition.

Bioshock = ugh, I am not even going to go there. I didn't even finish the demo because I was so bored.

World of Warcraft = the original game was fun from 1-60, I know (I played it for 2 years), but the raiding was anything but fun with 20+ people and the pvp grew boring outside of BGs (I loved world pvp to just go and destroy other faction members). Maybe the game got better with the expansion packs, but 15$ a month is a bit much for a game that I have too many bad memories of.

And CoD: World at War: same old, same old, except less polished.

FarCry was good fun until the monsters came into it. That just ruined the game for me.

GTA IV - decent game, but i can't really enjoy it because the frame rate is so poor.

Halo 3 - a big fat pile of "meh".

Call of Duty series. Shallow, linear corridor shooters with zero interactivity, and full of historical errors.

Homeworld: First PC game I bought that I didn't finish. Worthless friendly AI meant needless micromanagement and the resource collection aspect seemed pointless and irritating. Hated it.

Gears of War

This game is the biggest snoozefest I've played. Typical Human vs Alien setting with lame generic "hard ass" characters. The combat in this game is terrible. None of the guns pack any sort of a punch. Locust's seem to store their brains in their kneecaps as headshots don't seem to do any more damage than a body shot unless you have a Magnum. All of the bossfights are too short and easy. Linear, braindead, and lacks any sign of fun rewarding gameplay.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Take Morrowind, cut out 1/3 of the skills, 1/2 of the world size, and all of the atmosphere - bam, you have Obivion. There's too much to pick on about this game, it's too easy. The 6 hour long main quest. The broken lockpicking mechanic. The unimpressive AI. The level scaling. The lack of any rewarding quests (unless you pay for DLC of course). This game is a joke.
