i installed already, nothing different so far, i didnt put warkhawk in tho cuz i dont feel like playin atm so i duno if they fixed the server issues, but i read somewhere theres a new option for themes like the psp has or something like dat
I've scoured every option available and I haven't noticed anything different. Not even the rumored theme change like the PSP.....maybe I'm missing something? Perhaps this update was just maintenance.

Yeah i have no idea whatsoever what the update did exactly. I guess ill just wait till the information comes up on playstation.com tommorow or whenever.
I tried Tekken Online and surprizingly, I could get into rooms right on the fly that were available. Looks like it may have fixed network issues with online games. Namely Tekken and (hopefully) Warhawk.

i think hes just making a joke no one seems to know what it does but my guess would be something involving warhawk probably or something to disable the remote playing of lair (i got the feeling that sony doesn't want ps3 games to be remotly played)

The only reason people are playing Lair on the psp is because the psp pad works better then the sixaxis (sad). It would only make sense for Lair to release an update to allow you to play with the psp3 analog stick in the same way that the psp pad behaves.
it loads the 15 second clips on the XMB MUCHH Faster so if u ahve like 20 videos and you scroll down them with your XMB, they load much faster now, includes games and music, anything on the xmb loads faster
and games off your HDD like SSHD or CaC load faster as well, and people also mentioned getting into warhawk servers on first attempt so yea. and i heard you can have flash backgroudns now (animated)
i hate this update.... i jus got home from work expecting to finally play warhawk kause i downloaded it while i was out gettin stuff for school then went to work and now this update has to update befor it lets me play warhawk!!! effin A!!!! doode i got school tomorroe so now i dont even know if i can play it then....
Why can't Sonys update be likeM$'s updates? It litteraly gets done in less than 20 seconds...I almost dread these simple firm updates for the ps3 because I know they'll take forever to get done!
