i saw it on google. it's sort of new. and it makes you wonder don't it? :) makes ME wonder, at least. although not really. you could tell it's a CGI image. look at the background. the Helghast is a different story though. he actually looks textured and stuff. screw Guerilla for doing this to me.

Yea.. however if you read at the bottom of the image, it said "concept and realtime models used as source." This image may have to do something with the new KZ game. Like you mentioned the image is kind of new... who knows.

it's not even supposed to be an ingame screen... it's just a model some guy at geurilla made.. Killzone2 characters will look different. better i hope. Thse are not that great to be honest.

It funny how when you search for KillZone... the Helghasts are more favorited than the ISA. There are more cool images of Helghasts than the ISA. Also when you play the first KillZone... the first cutscene started out with the Helghasts... after the big speech by Scolar Visari... it was like you were on their side than the ISA. aka_aj03

I loved the first two games, and both are among my most-played on their specific platforms, so I can't wait to see, and eventually play Killzone PS3.

I'm certain that it will look great, and have some very, very fancy effects, but what I'm really excited about is what Guerrilla will do with the gameplay. I'd really love to see Guerrilla combine gameplay concepts from both Killzone and Killzone: Liberation into the new game, yet ramp up the chaos to about what we saw in that recent CoD4 footage.

Anyways, Killzone PS3 has been my most anticipated game since back when I beat the original game in 2004 (Yes, even though it was before the trailer, I had some suspicions that the next game wouldn't be on PS2) and it still is. I can't wait for E3 as a tremendous fan of the series, and these remaining days will be very long and annoying.

I couldn't agree with you more. It was crushed because everyone took offense to the "halo-killer" comments. The game was solid. I played with over 500 people online. It still have 100 people on every day.

That's because nazi-esque soldiers with all black armor, gas masks, voice amplifiers, extremely powerful guns, and last but certainly not least, those awesome glowing orange goggles, are so much cooler than standard human soldiers.

The Helghast, not the ISA, are the equivalent to Killzone what Mario is to Nintendo (except they aren't overused in various sports and party games, and you can't find a cell phone ringtone that is their theme).

I doubt it is, I mean, "Guerrilla" is spelled two different ways on the image.

Although, that is roughly the degree of what I'd expect the GDC EDGE demo looked like.
