after the ps3 slim and price drop im just waiting

to hear certain fanboys new excuses for mhy they hate ps3..since we got equal multiplats and competitive price ..whats left? any ideas on what ridiculous excuses we are gonna hear?.. i bet we are just gonna get

Because it takes forever for anything new to get added, we have to wait until a game actually gets released to get a demo...and its usually weeks after its release. If they started releasing a lot more greatest hits games for PS1 and PS2 it would make it a lot better in my eyes, not just lame mini games for PS3.

Not to mention we hardly have any exclusives, Resistance is great but I mainly got mine for Tekken and Silent Hill and it bums me out that everyone has it now.

But now that its a more reasonable price and more good games are out now than when it released it makes the system more desirable I would think. Not to mention the bluray, which was the main selling point for me...other than being loyal to the name lol.

Yeah but only a few of the PS1 games appeal to me, waiting for more RE games and Silent Hill. Never had a PS1 so I didnt have any of those games, guess I should have specified better lol...and dont you need a PSP to play the games? Because I accidently DL'ed a PSP demo and could not play it.

Xbox Live is well worth the $50 a year and much better than the PSN. I've played both and not my opinion, but truth lol, Xbox Live is MUCH better than PlayStation Network, although the PS3 has great games, I prefer the 360.

i believe the party system with in game chat, some of those funds go towards getting exclusive dlc, the avatar system is pretty fun (except buying new clothes is dumb) especially 1 vs. 100 and other avatar games.

i feel more "involved" with my friends playing on live than on psn. if sony incorporates more headsets and creates some kind of party system and allows you to play music during ANY game, it could definitely be on par.

but i do feel the ps store is better organized than stuff on live, usually cheaper.

Thats why I didnt get the 360 (other than lack of bluray) its a big online system, whereas I really dont play games online. I only play COD4 and 50 dollars a year adds up a lot over time.

It's a shame you're paying for that, BUT it IS your money and you can waste it however you see fit.

50 bucks for online (sometimes $40) a year isn't so bad when the system is expensive but I would think that once the 360 was way down in price the yearly subscription would go down as well. I just don't see it being logical to buy a $100 console (in the future) and still be paying $50 a year. Thats like having to buy your console over again every 2 years.

I think the exclusive thing is a big reason why no one REALLY has a PS3 other than price. Because what game gets the same kind of hype and excitment all around like Halo does? I mean **** people buy Xbox solely for Halo, there is not a exclusive for PS3 that MAKES people want to buy it in large numbers.

Resistance and Resistance 2 is as good as it gets, and I love the **** out of both of them, and 2 is one of my all time favorite FPS...but it gets no large praise because no one really owns a PS3 :(

Well the one thing i can say as an opionion is that my best friend who i've been friends for since grade school owns a PS3 and in the beginning my Xbox was the system of choice but with the problems i have had with my xbox is just to much.

People always say "well the new ones work fine" That's great i don't have a new one and i dont have money to spend on a new one or getting it fixed every other month. I mean everyone i know who has a xbox about 2/3 of themhave sentthem in. No one with a PS3 has had a problem, and free online less little children it seems and an overall more enjoyable expierence (SP isn't my greatest of gifts).

I mean i don't want to sound like i'm worshipping PS3's feet but i have had so many problems with m$ and there horrible customer service ripping you off for EVERYTHING (pretty soon your going to have to pay to turn on the damn console) I just hope that this new slim will wipe the floor withM$ much like the PS2.

xbox fanboys, ps3 fanboys...they all talk the same crap and it will never quit. BUT, I am glad to see the PS3 is matching the price of its main competitor. It'll only benefit all of us as gamers. As far as the fight starting above, I do agree that Xbox LIVE is much better than PSN, but only with the friends list. The rest is all pretty similar. I have to admit, online games do usually warrant my 360 purchase, but nonetheless my PS3 still does good with its exclusives.

Hmmm, dedicated servers provided less enjoyment that P2P paid connection? Look I understand the whole friends on Live and party chat thing but as far as online play not much difference and there is a reason why Live has yet to support games with 32 players or more. So it would be opinion not truth.

It's not laggy at all, maybe you should check your PS3 Internet setup ports.

I had been playing COD4 on PS3 for over an year, it's smooth as butter online mate.

There really is no difference between XBL and PSN online gaming, you're just trying to justify 60$ subscription.

If you actually played games online on PS3 and tried to compare console - you wouldn't find any difference. I know since I have both. Microsoft continues to charge owners for something that had been free for decades.

You paid for console, you pay for Internet high speed bills, you paid for pricey games - you shouldn't be force to pay for online gameplay. That's just my opinion, maybe some people just enjoy spending money.

Your right, that doesnt prove the superiority of one over the other, and im not trying to, im just saying that that was the experience i had when i played the game on PSN, and I have not seen any of that happen on the 360 version. So far I love both consoles, but they each have their flaws and everyone just has to except that and stop argueing about whos is better. No, you know what? PS3 and 360 fanboys should unite to down the evil empire that nintendo has become!

They're gonna use the PSN sucks excuse. They sure can't use the PS3 doesn't have any games excuse anymore. Seeing as the PS3 has alot more exclusives to be released later this year and early next than the 360.
